I believe we will play Washington. The Dodgers will finish with the best record and get the winner of the wild card game so that leaves Washington and Chicago.

Yeah it's Washington we play. I saw Arietta ruled out first two games. After today I'm willing to bet it's Lester, Hendricks, Quintana, and Arietta.

its cool we were able to rally back and win the division this year, considering the rough start to the year we had and recent history of previous world series winners being unable to do it (hasn't happened since 09 i think i saw)

Read that Hendricks is 4-2 in the post season and the two losses were both 1-0. Definitely no game too big for him. Nice to get the first one on the road in the win column.

I hated the lineup. Schwarber over Baez will always leave me unhappy. Then I thought we would see a pinch runner for Schwarber in the 5th and it didn't happen. Then Schwarber costs the run and I was pissed. It all ended good, but I hope Joe will figure out that he can not play Schwarber in NL parks in the playoffs. He is too much of a liability in the field to chase the 0.6% chance he'll hit a HR.

part of me agrees with you, i'm glad it turned out ok.

I'm assuming that given the strength of WAS pitching Madden thinks that Schwarber makes sense since one hit can be the difference between winning and losing. That's all I have to go with.

Maddon said that he went with Schwarber in game 1 because he liked the HR chance because he didn't think they could string together a lot of hits off Strasburg. I'll be surprised if Strasburg doesn't pitch game 4 since he would be on normal rest after the delay.

Yes it is ok to be nervous. If you are a good looking girl I'll gladly hold your hand and anything else that needs holding. If you are not I suggest you find one and hold their hand.
