April Record: 10-14
First off I would like to say it has been an okay start.
The Cubs have outscored their opponents 112-91 which doesn't make much sense that we have outscored our opponents by 21 but we are 4 games below .500.

Some good and bad things:
Good- Rich Hill has been amazing this year and his breaking ball is one of the best in the league.
Bad- Will Ohman has been dreadful so far in the pen let up a ton of key runs.

Good- A Ram. Aramis has hit really well this month which is a surprise since he usually starts off bad. Hopefully he can keep it goind
Bad- Alfonso- He hasn't done that bad but he isn't playing like he did last year. We spent a ton of money on this guy and he is having the worst start of his career.

Good- Zambrano- He has done really well in his last few starts and looks like a Cy Young contender again.
Bad- Zambrano- He started off not so great with a very high ERA.

Good- Mark DeRosa- In the first 2 weeks he was our offense. He hit homers and drove in key runs.
Bad- Howry/Eyre- Awful and very inconsistent this first month and scare me everytime they run out of the bullpen.

Good- D. Lee- He is playing well despite only have one April homer. These numbers will only get better as time goes on.
Bad- Murton on the bench- It stinks watching Murton sitting on the bench knowing he has some talent.

Good- Felix Pie- Done great in the outfield this month but needs to turn it up on hitting.
Bad- Bullpen- We are 0-7 in 1 run games. Enough said.

Hopefully as the weather gets warmer we start winning some more ballgames.

I will be at May 28 vs Marlins, July 1 vs Brewers, Sept 3 vs Dodgers. I will also probably make a trip up to Milwaukee this year again and maybe a couple more added in.

That's a lot of games in a row versus Pittsburgh and Washington. If this team is even remotely a contendor, we should be at or above .500 before we get to Philly and the Mets.
