Gallagher, Murton, and Patterson if that report posted in the other thread is correct.

What a steal if Harden stays healthy.

Wow, great trade for you guys. I really can't see any of those guys making you regret the deal.

Jim Hendry making a trade with Billy Beane and not getting owned? I don't believe it!

So much for Rich Harden will cost us a lot of good prospects. We got Harden for our trash. I guess Donaldson is okay. Gallagher is really the only one I'm sad to see go.

Right now Gallagher is a solid #5 starter. But so is Sean Marshall.

I read somewhere that we also got Chad Gaudin. What a deal Jimbo.

I could care less about Gallagher. The one thing the Cubs have is at least a little depth at pitching in the minors. Basically the Cubs gave up a future #4 or #5 SP, and two players that couldn't even find a spot on the Cubs bench this season.

Considering Harden is a very high risk pitcher, this is a very low risk move for the Cubs.

I completely forgot that this pretty much pushes Marquis to the bullpen for long relief... YAY

I'd like to put him in a deal and try to get some talent back for him. Whether it be for the future or depth for right now, Marquis should not be on this ball club. He won't be on the playoff roster if we make it.

Gaudin is nice insurance...can fill a lot of different roles...

I would have preferred CC but for what we gave up I will take Harden...

Another great thing with this deal is Harden has another year on his current deal (cheap)...so we have him for next year also.
