I'm ecstatic, this gives our lineup so much flexibility with Joe backing up the 3 and 4. The toughness and athleticism on this roster just went through the roof with him and RJ. I feel like today is a dream with who we added in the past 4 hours.

Good pick. The Bucks badly needed toughness and we finely got some. Now we just need to get rid of Mo and Villanuava and we'll be set.

I am going to be very interested to see what Hammond says and how Alexander fits into what were trying to do.

Picking Joe was a bit of a surprise after this afternoon's trade but this kid is going to be a great NBA player. He brings a toughness and athleticism the Bucks desperately need. Although he's listed as a SF I wouldn't be surprised to see him paired up with Jefferson. That would create some match up problems for our opponents. Bayless would have also been a good pick but you can't go wrong with Joe Alexander.

We have some athletes at the forward spots now, that is for damn sure. If Hammond truly believes he can play PF, then I get more excited about it. I love his work ethic and athletic ability.

Drating Bayless would have given us so many possibilities of trading Mo for a legit PF. Now, we're stuck with a tweener thats a backup at both positions. Brilliant.....

NIce pick. I too love the kid's attitude. You could just feel his toughness and confidence in that interview with Smith. I think he can play power forward. If Haslem can play it, I don't see why Alexander can't play it. Better athlete and just as strong.

Has Hammond said anything about this pick yet? I want to know how they envision him fitting in.

I think he brings a strong fullcourt mindset where he can defend any guard/forward while scoring 10-20 points every night on the offensive end. A guy like Bayless or Augustine would just have given us the same problems and reasons we missed the playoffs so many years: no Defense, care, and determination to give 110% every night.

Bayless was there for the taking and now goes to Indy. It'll be high comedy if he beats out TJ. I'm watching the Portland pick with interest. It could be a potential Bucks pick in a deal involving Mo.
