forget that we dont need another project, do we really need ANOTHER SF?!?!? how many years in a row do we draft the same f@ckin position before we get it right?

are wilson chandler and renaldo balkman and quite frankly david lee all junk? cause i think david lee is probably better suited to SF than PF...

ugh... i wanted bayless

He has a very Telfair thing about him. I doubt his game will translate when he goes up against players just as althetic if not more, than him. Mayo herbed him.

I am shocked Walsh passed on Bayless! Do we really need a damn PROJECT in Gallinari? Why?

My only guess as to why Walsh did this is because, believe it ir not, guess what?? Walsh is counting on none other than MARBURY!! Oh man!

I was never a big fan of DJ Augustin, but I think he was a better choice than this Italian project! UGH!!!

hes not a project and the knicks are running which every basketball player worth a damn can do . This kid will not have to do much to impress and since he can shoot the rock the uptempo system will make his adjustment that much easier.

Why people get their hopes up on draft night is beyond me. It's the worst part of Walsh's skillset. I told you only 'Antoni could make us flip the script with a wild card pick. I told you Walsh needs to please his new coach. I told you we're still in a win now mode, despite the comments about 'rebuilding' and cap space.

All that said, Gallinari will do very well in the coach's system. Walsh is also better at trades and signings, than he is in the draft. But don't expect any moves tonight. We're not trying to get younger. If we make any moves, it's going to be to make the team play better sooner.

Gallinari is one of the biggest projects in this draft. He is 6'9" and only 209 lbs.

Then what do you do with the talented Wilson Chandler, Q-Rich and Balkman?

I don't think Danilo is more of a project than the picks in the lottery.
His biggest asset is having a complete game and being a very mature guy...

yeah, I can't believe we passed on Bayless. this happens every year. someone who shouldn't, drops and we're not smart enough to pick them up.

He's already been killing in the Euro leagues, if you want to talk 'project'. Better than Skita and Bargnani, in terms of playing there. You could even say the Euroleagues offer tougher competition than college over here.
