Spurs took Dragic (PG). I like that pick for them

The draft for the Kings has been ok. I give Petrie a C+ at best. He could have done MUCH better though IMO.

This draft is interesting, partially intriguing, but I doubt it'll be good

I think we definitely blew multiple oppurtunities here, or couldn't take advantage for some reason

I'm not happy overall, nor am I significantly disappointed...

What happened to Mike Taylor??? Smokescreen? I wonder if he even gets drafted and Petrie tries to sign him as a FA.

Kings should've taken Hendrix over Ewing Jr. Singletary I can see but Ewing Jr could have been had as a free agent, no doubt.

I love the Singletarry pick. It's a nice way to get insurance at the PG spot without pissing Beno off

This draft rates the same as the recent 49ers draft (for those of you who follow the 49ers/NFL), it was an ehhh draft...fills some needs but nothing great.

So our roster as of now (obviously won't keep everyone and will pick some people up through trades/FA/etc)

Miller/Hawes
Moore/Williams/Thompson/SAR/KT
Artest/Salmons/Garcia/Ewing
Martin/Douby
Singletary/????

Anyone else notice all our picks are seniors? I doubt that is coincidence.

Petrie wanted to take the safe picks?

Because we want players that are "NBA" ready than going with potential, apparently. I guess we feel that our team can compete for the playoffs next season...

Singletary has some impressive stats, maybe I jumped the gun at being disappointed with this pick. Besides his scoring stats he averages nearly 2 steals a game and 4 rebounds a game at 6 foot tall!
