Player Index: College Prospect Stats Pg4

Post#1 » by GRADEN » Fri Oct 8, 2010 10:24 pm

Warning; This is the longest post in Real GM history. The other 9 posts in the top 10 longest posts also belong to me so this shouldn't be a surprise. Simply put I love college basketball; I truly feel it is the best sport out there. The competition, the pride, the hustle, the walk on who makes a game winning shot, and the 50 or so that work hard enough to make the NBA.

This is my complete prediction and prospect index for the Big 6 conferences and the other top flight teams and players in D1 ball. Note: This is the first year for the First Four so for those that don't know there are now 68 teams in the field.

I'll start with the end; here is my field of 68 prediction:

1. Duke V. 16. Long Beach St. / Jackson State
2. Purdue V. 15. Montana
3. Texas Tech V. 14. Morgan State
4. Kentucky V. 13. Princeton / Detroit
5. UCONN V. 12. Missouri State
6. Syracuse V. 11. Minnesota
7. Memphis V. 10. Richmond
8. West Virginia V. 9. Gonzaga
------------------------------------------------------------
1. Michigan State V. 16. Bucknell / Quinnipiac
2. Kansas V. 15. Oakland
3. New Mexico V. 14. Siena
4. Villanova V. 13. WICHITA STATE
5. Tennessee V. 12. Saint Louis
6. North Carolina V. 11. Butler
7. Marquette V. 10. Ohio
8. BYU V. 9. Notre Dame
------------------------------------------------------------
1. Kansas State V. 16. Lipscomb
2. Georgetown V. 15. Boston
3. Illinois V. 14. Old Dominion
4. Texas V. 13. North Texas
5. Georgia V. 12. NC State
6. Baylor V. 11. Seton Hall
7. Maryland V. 10. Arizona
8. Wisconsin V. 9. Mississippi State
------------------------------------------------------------
1. Florida V. 16. Stephen F. Austin
2. Pittsburgh V. 15. Morehead State
3. Virginia Tech V. 14. Coastal Carolina
4. Washington State V. 13. Wofford
5. Vanderbilt V. 12. St. Johns / Utah State
6. Ohio State V. 11. Florida State
7. Washington V. 10. Missouri
8. San Diego State V. 9. UCLA

Please do not argue seeding until I am actually wrong. I truly love this game and follow each and every player / team very closely.

ACC

BOSTON COLLEGE

PG Biko Paris (SR)
SG Reggie Jackson (JR - 12.9p-5.7r-4.5a)
F Corey Raji (SR - 11.4p - 5.8r - 54.3FG%)
F Joe Trapani (SR - 14.1p - 6.4r - 80.2FT%)
C Josh Southern (SR)

Rotation: G Dallas Elmore, F Cortney Dunn

New coach Donahue has inherited a very good starting five. There are 2 star players in Jackson and Trapani (who is entereing his 9th season there) and then there is a nice 3rd scorer in Raji. Paris and Southern are solid starters as well but the issue is in depth; there isn't any. Elmore and Dunn are decent upperclass bench players but the rest of the roster has 0 reason for being in the ACC.

Prediction; 19-16 NIT

NBA PROSPECT
PG REGGIE JACKSON (6-3 200)

CLEMSON

PG Demontez Stitt (SR - 11.4p - 2.7r - 3.1a)
SG Tanner Smith
F Milton Jennings
F Jerai Grant
F Devin Booker

Rotation: G Noel Johnson, PG Andre Young

3 problems don't make a winning season; No T Booker, No bigs, No Depth. Booker, Jennings, and Grant are all undersized 4/5s but they will be relied upon heavily. This team made a good hire and should return Smith, Johnson, Jennings, and Booker next season when they should be alot better and used to Brownell's system.

Prediction; 13-22

NBA PROSPECT
F MILTON JENNINGS (6-9, 225)

DUKE

PG Kyrie Irving (FR)
SG Nolan Smith (SR - 17.4p - 2.8r - 3.0a)
SF Kyle Singler (SR - 17.7p - 7.0r - 40TP%)
PF Josh Hairston (FR)
C Miles Plumlee (JR)

Rotation: G Seth Curry, F Mason Plumlee, G Andre Dawkins, F Ryan Kelly

The best 9 man roation in the nation. Anything less than another title will be a let down for the demons.

Prediction: 31-4 TOURNY 1 SEED

NBA PROSPECTS:
PG Kyrie Irving (6-2, 180)
PG Nolan Smith (6-2, 185)
G Seth Curry (6-1, 175)
SF Kyle Singler (6-8, 230)

FLORIDA STATE

PG Derwin Kitchen (SR)
SG Michael Snaer (SO)
SF Deividas Dulkys (JR)
PF Chris Singleton (JR - 10.2p - 7.0r - 2.2a)
C Jon Kreft (JR)

Rotation: SF Luke Loucks, C Xavier Gibson, PF Bernard James, G Ian Miller

This is a very interesting team that Hamilton has. From my stance this could definitly be a surprise team. Singleton went to every camp he could over the summer the highly rated Snaer has a year under his belt. Add in 3 players not on last years team that can really play and 20 wins in an average ACC is within reach.

Prediction: 21-14 TOURNY 11 SEED

NBA PROSPECT
PF Chris Singleton (6-9, 227)
SG Michael Snaer (6-5, 200)

GEORGIA TECH

PG Maurice Miller (SR)
G Iman Shumpert (JR)
G Glen Rice Jr. (SO)
F Brian Oliver (SO)
C Daniel Miller (FR)

Rotation: G Mfon Udofia, F Kammeron Holsey, SF Lance Storrs

This team will be pretty bad. Shumpert will score 15ppg more than likely but won't shoot it at high percentage. They will rely heavily on 3 very inexperienced frontcourt bigs whom I like, but just not this season.

Prediction: 12-23

MARYLAND

PG Pe'Shon Howard (FR)
SG Sean Mosley (JR - 10.1p - 5.1r - 81.1FT%)
SF Cliff Tucker (SR)
PF Dino Gregory (SR)
C Jordan Williams (SO - 9.6p - 8.6r - 51.2FG%)

Rotation: SF Mychal Tucker, G Adrian Bowie, F James Padggett, F Aston Pankey, PG Terrell Stoglin

10 deep and a great coach... That equals 20+ any year and in any conference. The biggest question will be who will run the point. To me it is Howard's ball because Mosely is going to need to score off of motion as he can not create 1-1. Mosely - Williams and a very nice 7-8 man support attack means wins.

Prediction: 23-12 TOURNY 7 SEED

NBA PROSPECT
C Jordan Williams (6-10, 260)

MIAMI

PG Malcolm Grant (JR)
SG Durand Scott (SO - 10.3p - 4.0r - 3.4a)
SF DeQuan Jones (JR)
F Adrian Thomas (SR)
C Reggie Johnson (SO)

Rotation: SG Rion Brown, SF Garrius Adams, C Julian Gamble

A good 8 man rotation lead by Scott. The real key will be getting second team scoring punch out of Brown and Adams. It's a solid team on a paper, they need to get to the line in order to get close to 20.

Prediction; 18-17 NIT

NBA PROSPECT
PG Durand Scott (6-3, 195)

NC STATE

PG Javier Gonzalez (SR)
G Lorenzo Brown (FR)
SF Scott Wood (SO)
F CJ Leslie (FR)
F Tracy Smith (SR - 16.5p - 7.3r - 52.4FG%)

Rotation: PF Richard Howell, SF CJ Williams, PG Ryan Harrow, C Jordan Vandenberg

Lowe has 3 big time players coming in to complement a very hard working Smith. This team will get better as the season goes on and should be in that bubble conversation by seasons end. Gonzalez is holding Harrow's place for a year, Leslie is cleanup and run with the best in the nation, and Brown is already a solid starter.

Prediction: 21-14 Tourny 12 SEED (Last 4 In)

NBA PROSPECT
PF Tracy Smith (6-8, 247)
F CJ Leslie (6-8, 210)

NORTH CAROLINA

PG Larry Drew (JR)
SG Harrison Barnes (FR)
F Will Graves (SR)
F John Henson (SO)
C Tyler Zeller (JR)

Rotation: PG Kendall Marshall, SF Reggie Bullock, G Dexter Strickland, C Justin Knox

The arrival of Barnes means that this team now has a go-to scorer. Drew and Marshall will battle it out for lead guard with I feel Drew winning the position for now. Henson and Zeller are multi-talented posts that need both consistent play and health to be out there all year.

Prediction; 24-11 TOURNY 6 SEED

NBA PROSPECT
SG HARRISON BARNES (6-7, 215)

VIRGINIA

PG Sammy Zeglinski (JR)
G Billy Baron (FR)
SG KT Harrell (FR)
PF Mike Scott (SR 12.0p - 7.2r - 50.5FG%)
C Asane Sene (JR)

Rotation: PF James Johnson, SG Mustapha Farrakhan, F Will Sherrill, F Will Regan, SF Joe Harris

Tony Bennett is one of the best coaches in the nation, make no mistake about that. Some tough loses last year that could have gotten them to 20 wins in a year most thought 10 would be difficult. Put in a good and deep class of 6 to a determined Mike Scott and this team's future is looking up but most likely a year away.

Prediction; 16-19

NBA PROSPECT
PF Mike Scott (6-8, 240)
SG KT Harrell (6-5, 200)
PF James Johnson (6-9, 234)

VIRGINIA TECH

PG Malcolm Delaney (SR - 20.2p - 3.7r - 4.5a)
SG Dorenzo Hudson (SR - 15.2p - 3.5r - 75.5FT%)
SF JT Thompson (SR)
F Jeff Allen (SR - 12.0p - 7.4r - 47.0FG%)
C Allan Chaney (SO)

Rotation: SF Terrell Bell, PF Viktor Davila, SF Jarell Eddie

This is going to be a really really dangerous team given their senior ladden team and transfer Chaney manning the middle. They should have 3 very good bench players to complement stars Delaney, Hudson, and Allen. Big expectations this year.

Prediction: 26-9 TOURNY 3 SEED

NBA PROSPECT
PG Malcolm Delaney (6-3, 190)
SG Dorenzo Hudson (6-5, 220)
F Jeff Allen (6-7, 230)
PF Allan Chaney (6-9, 235)

WAKE FOREST

PG Tony Chennault (FR)
G CJ Harris (SO)
SF Ari Stewart (SO)
PF Melvin Tabb (FR)
C Tony Woods (JR)

Rotation: C Ty Walker, G JT Terrell

I think they have 7 guys that can gel into a good rotation... However, unless 1 of Woods or Walker wakes up and dominates like they should then this team has no chance to compete. Harris, Chennault, and Harris form a good 3 man 1/2 crew but other than that the team is full of question marks.

Prediction: 14-21

BIG 12

BAYLOR

PG AJ WALTON (SO)
SG LACEDARIUS DUNN (SR - 19.6p - 4.8r - 41.9TP%)
SF QUINCY ACY (JR)
F ANTHONY JONES (JR)
F PERRY JONES (FR)

Rotation: F Corey Jefferson, PG Stargell Love, SG Bakari Turner, SG Nolan Dennis

Dunn is currently suspended and is expected to miss what many guess is around 10 games. That will hurt their record by 2-3 games on prediction. Easily one of the most athletic and gifted teams in the nation. The combo of Dunn-Jones should produce 30-40 points and 10-15 rebounds on average every night. The question marks lay in the depth, chemistry, and center position (lack there of).

Prediction; 25-10 TOURNY 6 SEED

NBA PROSPECT
SG LaceDarius Dunn (6-4, 205)
F Perry Jones (6-10, 220)

COLORADO

PG NATE TOMLINSON
SG COREY HIGGINS
SF ALEC BURKS
F MARCUS RELPHORDE
C SHANE HARRIS-TUNKS

Rotation: PG Shannon Sharpe, C Austin Dufault, SG Levi Knutson, C Ben Mills

This is Higgins and Burks and not much else. A Tomlinson - Sharpe 2 headed PG rotation isn't a bad 1 and Relphorde is solid but the 3 bigs on the roster have a lot to be desired.

Prediction: 19-16 NIT

NBA PROSPECT
SG Corey Higgins (6-5, 190)
SG Alec Burks (6-6, 185)

IOWA STATE

PG DIANTE GARRETT (SR)
G DEMARCUS PHILLIPS (JR)
G SCOTT CHRISTOPHERSON (JR)
F ROYCE WHITE (FR)
C JAMES VANDERBEKEN (SR)

Rotation: SF Melvin Ejim, G Jake Anderson, PF Calvin Godfrey, C Jordan Railey, F Eric McKnight

The Mayor comes back into town and has inherited an absolute mess. Garrett is a solid point and Phillips comes in from the JC ranks to add scoring. The prize is the troubled but amazingly talented White (from Minnesota). When he starts to play I expect him to be the teams best player.

Prediction: 13-22

KANSAS

PG JOSH SELBY (FR)
G TYSHAWN TAYLOR (JR)
SF MARIO LITTLE (SR)
PF MARCUS MORRIS (JR - 12.8p - 6.1r - 57.0FG%)
C MARKIEFF MORRIS (JR)

Rotation: F Thomas Robinson, G Brady Morningstar, G Tyrel Reed, SG Travis Releford, PG Elijah Johnson, C Jeff Withey

While alot of "experts" are picking the Jayhawks to be a final 4-elite 8 team again, I am not. They will better later in the year and see their seeding increase but I believe their are 10-12 teams better than they will be. Alot will be riding on a trio of scorers in Marcus Morris, Selby, and Little. Those 3 are not as good as the departed Collins, Henry, and Aldridge. They do have good depth though and a nice backup senior guard duo of Morningstar and Reed.

Prediction: 26-9 TOURNY 2 SEED

NBA PROSPECT
PG Josh Selby (6-2, 183)
PF Marcus Morris (6-8, 225)

KANSAS STATE

PG JACOB PULLEN (SR - 19.3p - 2.6r - 3.4a)
SG RODNEY MCGRUDER (SO)
SF JAMAR SAMUELS (JR)
PF CURTIS KELLY (SR)
C FREDDY ASPIRILLA (JR)

Rotation: F Wally Judge, G Martavious Irving, G Will Spradling, C Jordan Henriquez-Roberts, SG Nick Russell

This is a scary good team. These 10 players listed all want to win and their crazy coach is like another player on the floor AND their home court advantage is imo the nation's best. Pullen will be the leader but he has a lot of capable scorers in Samuels, Kelly, Judge, Irving, and Aspirilla.

Prediction: 29-6 TOURNY 1 SEED

NBA PROSPECT
PG Jacob Pullen (6-0, 200)
SF Jamar Samuels (6-7, 220)
PF Wally Judge (6-9, 248)

MISSOURI

PG MICHAEL DIXON (SO)
SG KIM ENGLISH (JR - 14.0p - 3.4r - 37.0TP%)
SF LAURENCE BOWERS (JR)
PF JUSTIN SAFFORD (SR)
C RICARDO RATLIFFE (JR)

Rotation: G Marcus Denmon, F Tony Mitchell, PG Phil Pressey

A very solid 8 man rotation led by smooth shooting guard English. Question is at point guard and also on the ready-ness of some of the new members. I expect Dixon to get the nod so that scoring comes off the bench in Denmon. Overall a solid team, but in no way a big time contender.

Prediction: 22-13 TOURNY 10 SEED

NBA PROSPECT
SG Kim English (6-6, 200)

NEBRASKA

PG LANCE JETER (SR)
SG BRANDON RICHARDSON (SO)
SF TONEY MCCRAY (JR)
PF BRANDON UBEL (SO)
C CHRISTOPHER NIEMANN (SO)

Rotation: C Jose Brian Diaz, SG Eshaunte Jones, F Christian Standhardinger, C Andre Almeida

A "strange" team to be honest. 4 huge bigs from all around the world and 2 decenet guards that is pretty much the entire team. The best player is Niemann by far. He should be up for newcomer of the year. Jeter and Richardson are solid, but nothing special. This is just an odd team.

Prediction: 13-22

OKLAHOMA

PG CARL BLAIR (SO)
SG TJ TAYLOR (FR)
SF CADE DAVIS (SR)
F CJ WASHINGTON (JR)
F ANDREW FITZGERALD (SO)

Rotation: SG Steven Pledger, G Calvin Neal, SF Tyler Neal

For what ever reason no one wants to play for Jeff Capal?? 3 promising players in Warren, TMG, and Gallon all bailed before they were ready to.... That leaves this team with a ton of unproven freshman and new faces. The best of the bunch will be Taylor, Washington, and Blair; all of which have good chances of starting.

Prediction: 11-24

OKLAHOMA STATE

PG KEATON PAGE (JR)
SG MARKEL BROWN (FR)
SF JP OLUKEMI (FR)
F MARSHALL MOSES (SR)
PF MATT PILGRIM (SR)

Rotation: PG Ray Penn, SF Roger Franklin, PF Darrell Williams

That is the 8 man rotation, the rest of the roster is a bunch of never-will-be's. Anyway you slice it this team will be the shortest team in the arena. Page and Penn are pushing 5'9 each and they have no centers and 2 undersized 4's to play the post. Could be a rough year.

Prediction: 12-23

TEXAS

PG COREY JOSPEH (FR)
G VAREZ WARD (SO)
SF JORDAN HAMILTON (SO)
F GARY JOHNSON (SR)
C TRISTIAN THOMPSON (FR)

Rotation: G J'Covan Brown, SF Shawn Williams, G Dogus Balbay

The inlfux of Joseph/Thompson reuniting at the next level gives the longhorns a dynamic pair of freshman. I fully expect this to be their team with a heavy dose of a very talented Hamilton. The rest of the roster is just ok. Balbay, Ward, and Brown were always just above average guards compaired to the complete Joseph.

Prediction: 24-11 TOURNY 4 SEED

NBA PROSPECT
PG Corey Jospeh (6-3, 180)
SF Jordan Hamilton (6-7, 226)
PF Tristian Thompson (6-9, 230)

TEXAS A&M

PG DASH HARRIS (JR)
SG KHRIS MIDDLETON (SO)
SF NATHAN WALKUP (SR)
PF DAVID LOUBEAU (JR)
C KOURTNEY ROBERSON (FR)

Rotation: PG BJ Holmes, F Ray Turner, PF Keith Davis

With the loses of their top 3 players from a 24 win team the Aggies are going to find it hard to find ways to win this year. Who is going to score on this team? The incoming class adds some good size and athletic ability but they will still need time. The future is bright, but the present looks cloudy.

Prediction: 18-17 NIT

TEAXAS TECH

PG JOHN ROBERSON (SR - 14.5p - 2.3r - 5.4a)
SG DAVID TAIRU (SR)
SF D'WALYN ROBERTS (SR)
F MIKE SINGELTARY (SR - 15.0p - 6.8r - 2.3a)
PF PAUL COOPER (JR)

Rotation: SF Theron Jenkins, C Robert Lewandowski, SG Brad Reese, PG Javarez Willis

These will be the 9 players that will play the minutes... and damnit all if this isn't Tech's best team in a long long time. Everyone knows about Singeltary and Roberson but Reese, Tairu, Roberts, Willis, and Cooper are real good too. Combine all this with a weak conference and Tech really looks like a potential national sleeper.

Prediction: 25-10 TOURNY 3 SEED

NBA PROSPECT
SF MIKE SINGELTARY (6-6, 235)

BIG EAST

CINCINNATI

PG CASHEMERE WRIGHT (SO)
SG JAQUAN PARKER (SO)
SF RASHAD BISHOP (SR)
PF YANCY GATES (JR)
C IBRAHIMA THOMAS (SR)

Rotation: G Dion Dixon, G Larry Davis, SG Sean Kilpatrick, C Kelvin Gaines, F Justin Jackson

They lost their entire backcourt that averaged 24ppg and were the 2 main perimeter options. Gates is a beast that really is on the cusp of being a dominant big man in the Big East. Still, Wright, Dixon, and Parker will all have to shoot high percentages this season in order to win... Most nights, that won't happen.

Prediction: 18-17 NIT

UCONN

PG KEMBA WALKER (JR - 14.6p - 4.3r - 5.1a)
SG DONNELL BEVERLEY (SR)
SF ROSCOE SMITH (FR)
PF ALEX ORIAKHI (SO)
C ATER MAJOK (SO)

Rotation: SF Jamal Combs-McDaniel, PG Shabazz Napier, F Tyler Olander, SG Jeremy Lamb, C Charles Okwandu

10 deep. 2 stars. Walker and Smith will provide Sportscenter with highlights most nights. Smith is going to be real good real fast and Walker is on the short list for player of the year. This class that Calhoun brought in is extremely well placed for this team. Watch out for Napier and Olander; they both can contribute right away.

Prediction: 24-11 TOURNY 5 SEED

NBA PROSPECT
PG Kemba Walker (6-1, 172)
SF Roscoe Smith (6-8, 205)

DEPAUL

PG JEREMIAH KELLY (JR)
SG MIKE STOVALL (SR)
SF ERIC WALLACE (JR)
PF DEVIN HILL (JR)
C KRYS FABER (JR)

Rotation: PG Michael Bizoukas, SF Tony Freeland, F Mario Stula, SG Moses Morgan, F Cleveland Melvin

Gone are 32ppg in Koshwal and Walker. They can't replace that from an 8-23 team either. Ouch. Stovall will be solid as the main guy but he just like the rest of this roster is out-talented and out-matched.

Prediction: 9-26

GEORGETOWN

PG CHRIS WRIGHT (SR - 15.2p - 3.0r - 4.1a)
SG JASON CLARK (JR)
SF AUSTIN FREEMAN (SR - 16.5p - 3.5r - 44.4TP%)
F HOLLIS THOMPSON (SO)
C JULIAN VAUGHN (SR)

Rotation: C Henry Sims, PF Nate Lubick, PG Markel Starks

An experienced and well balanced 8 man rotation here. Wright and Freeman are now Seniors after being an extremely hyped freshman duo that were at first a little underwelming. Sims and Thompson need to show their games. If those 2 show up this year then this team is elite 8 type of good. Perimeter scoring plus good rebounding bigs always produces wins.

Prediction: 26-9 TOURNY 2 SEED

NBA PROSPECT
PG CHRIS WRIGHT (6-1, 208)
SG AUSTIN FREEMAN (6-4, 227)

NOTRE DAME

PG BEN HANSBROUGH (SR - 12.0p - 3.9r - 4.4a)
SG JOEY BROOKS (SO)
F SCOTT MARTIN (SR)
F TIM ABROMAITIS (SR - 16.1p - 4.7r - 42.9TP%)
PF TYRONE NASH (SR)

Rotation: F Carleton Scott, C Tom Knight, PG Eric Atkins, PF Jack Cooley, SF Alex Dragicevich

This team can shoot, flat out. The combination of Hansbrough and Abromaitis is going to give teams fits and combine that with good rebounding undersized forwards Nash and Scott and the Irish will have at least 1 or 2 big upsets this season. The question lays in just how good is Martin after not playing for 2 straight seasons and back from injury. Once upon a time he was considered the superior recruuit to his high school teammate; Robbie Hummel. If he is good, the Irish can surprise.

Prediction: 22-13 TOURNY 9 SEED

NBA PROSPECT
SF TIM ABROMAITIS (6-8, 235)

PITTSBURGH

PG TRAVON WOODALL (SO)
SG ASHTON GIBBS (JR - 15.7p - 2.8r - 38.0TP%)
SF NASIR ROBINSON (JR)
PF DANTE TAYLOR (SO)
C GARY MCGHEE (SR)

Rotation: G BRAD WANAMAKER, SF GILBERT BROWN, PF TALIB ZANNA, SF JJ MOORE, SF LAMAR PATTERSON

An extremely deep backcourt bolsters a team that has all the tools to go very far this year. The key is in the bench where they have 3-4 guys that could easily start on most teams. That is where they will win games; with their second team building leads against other's inferior benchs.

Prediction: 28-7 TOURNY 2 SEED

NBA PROSPECT
PG Ashton Gibbs (6-2, 190)
PF Dante Taylor (6-9, 240)

PROVIDENCE

PG VINCENT COUNCIL (SO)
SG GERARD COLEMAN (FR)
SF MARSHON BROOKS (SR - 14.2p - 4.2r - 35.1TP%)
F RON GIPLAYE (FR)
C BILAL DIXON (SO)

Rotation: G Duke Mondy, PG Dre Evans

Brooks and Dixon will be looked to carry the entire team. They can't do it. The team lacks experience across the board and are out-classed by the talent in the league. Brooks could average 17-19ppg and that will be the highlight of the season.

Prediction: 8-27

RUTGERS

PG MIKE COBURN (SR)
SG DANE MILLER (SO)
SF JONATHON MITCHELL (SR)
PF GILVYDAS BIRUTA (FR)
PF AUSTIN JOHNSON (SO)

Rotation: PG James Beatty, G Tyree Graham, SG Austin Carroll

An 8 man rotation that lacks size and depth. Rosario bolted after realizing he couldn't save his home town team all by himself so they are left with little scoring punch. Small guard heavy team with little height and depth in the frontcourt. Not good.

Prediction: 11-24

LOUISVILLE

PG PEYTON SIVA (SO)
G PRESTON KNOWLES (SR)
SG ROBURT SALLIE (SR)
SF JARED SWOPSHIRE (JR)
F TERRANCE JENNINGS (JR)

Rotation: F Rakeem Buckles, C Gorgui Dieng, SG Chris Smith, PF Stephan Van Treese

Their 3 leading scorers are gonee and alot of pressure of that is going to fall on SAllie and Swopshire. SAllie transfered from Memphis and can shoot the rock with ease. Jennings is the highest rated recruit on the roster and will get his shot this season. The team has the guards to defend but the ceiling is lower than normal this year.

Prediction: 21-14 NIT

MARQUETTE

PG DARIUS JOHNSON-ODOM (JR)
SG VANDER BLUE (FR)
SF JAE CROWDER (JR)
F JIMMY BUTLER (SR - 14.7p - 6.4r - 53.0FG%)
C CHRIS OTULE (SO)

Rotation: G Dwight Buycks, PG Junior Cadougan, SF Joseph Fulce, C Davante Gardner, SF Jamail Jones, PG Reggie Smith

Deep, can shoot, very talented. I see alot of NIT talk around this team in previews. Really? I see 1 of the nation's best recruiting classes paired with 2 all-big east players. The question is size in the middle of course. If 1 of Otule or Gardner can have a good season then this team is in the mix for the elite 8.

Prediction: 24-11 TOURNY 7 SEED

NBA PROSPECT
SF Jimmy Butler (6-7, 220)
SG Vander Blue (6-4, 190)

SETON HALL

PG JORDAN THEODORE (JR)
SG JEREMY HAZELL (SR - 20.4p - 3.5r - 75.8FT%)
SF ENIEL POLYNICE (SR)
F JEFF ROBINSON (SR)
PF HERB POPE (JR - 11.5p - 10.7r - 45.9FG%)

Rotation: F Ferrakohn Hall, SG Jamel Jackson, PG Keon Lawerence, SF Fuquan Edwin

They have 9 guys that can really play, led by Hazell of course. This team should be ultra competitive with every one every night. Hazell needs to up his shooting numbers and dish the rock a bit more, if that happens then this is a tourny team for sure.

Prediction: 21-14 TOURNY 11 SEED

NBA PROSPECT
SG Jeremy Hazell (6-5, 188)
PF Herb Pope (6-8, 236)

SOUTH FLORIDA

PG ANTHONY CRATER (JR)
SG HUGH ROBERTSON (JR)
SF JAWANZA POLAND (SO)
PF AUGUSTUS GILCHRIST (JR - 13.4p - 5.9r - 48.5FG%)
C JARRID FAMOUS (SR - 10.4p - 7.5r - 52.7FG%)

Rotation: PG Shedrick Haynes, PF Ron Anderson, F Toarlyn Fitzpatrick

It's an 8 man rotation that has the opposite problem 99% of the nation has; great bigs, bad guards. Crater a former higly regarded Buckeye recruit and Freshman Haynes will be in charge of getting Gilchrist the ball down low. Shooting from the perimeter will be the real issue this season.

Prediction: 19-16 NIT

NBA PROSPECT
PF Augustus Gilchrist (6-10, 245)

ST. JOHNS

PG PARIS HORNE (SR)
SG DJ KENNEDY (SR - 15.1p - 6.1r - 45.0FG%)
SF DWAYNE POLEE (FR)
F JUSTIN BROWNLEE (SR)
PF SEAN EVANS (SR)

Rotation: PF Justin Burrell, G Dwight Hardy, PG Malik Boothe

New coach Lavin has inherited a pretty good team. DJ is a proven player and Brownlee, Evans, and Burrell should all be solid rebounders again. Coach Lavin needs to teach better shot selection first and foremost. Boothe, Horne, Hardy all take some quesionable shots at times. This team is a little short inside but has some skillful players. A bubble team to be sure.

Prediction: 20-15 TOURNY 12 SEED (Last 4 In)

NBA PROSPECT
SG DJ KENNEDY (6-5, 214)

SYRACUSE

PG SCOOP JARDINE (JR)
SG BRANDON TRICHE (SO)
SF KRIS JOSEPH (JR)
PF RICK JACKSON (SR)
C FAB MELO (FR)

Rotation: SG Mookie Jones, SF CJ Fair, PG Dion Waiters, F James Southerland, C DaShonte Riley

Not Boeheim's best team, but not a bad team either. Joseph is the key to everything as he really needs to take over Johnson's productive role head on. Melo should come in an rebound and be disruptive, but as far as anything away from the basket goes.. It may be asking too much. A team that is a year away from dominating but still good.

Prediction: 25-10 TOURNY 6 SEED

NBA PROSPECT
C Fab Melo (7-0, 265)
PG Dion Waiters (6-3, 214)

VILLANOVA

PG COREY FISHER (SR - 13.3p - 3.9a - 77.0FT%)
SG DOMINIC CHEEK (SO)
SF COREY STOKES (SR)
PF ANTONIO PENA (SR)
C MOUPHTAOU YAROU (SO)

Rotation: SF Isaiah Armwood, PG Maalik Wayns, SG James Bell, F JayVaughn Pinkston

Much like Georgetown's Freeman and Wright, the Corey's were looked at as a huge backcourt recruiting prize 4 years ago. As Seniors now they really need to pick it up. Either Stokes or Cheek needs to step it up in order to make this an elite team. Without 1 of them in that 15ppg range then they are just another 1 and done team.

Prediction: 26-9 TOURNY 4 SEED

NBA PROSPECT
PG Corey Fisher (6-1, 200)
PG Maalik Wayns (6-1, 185)
C Mouphtaou Yarou (6-10, 250)

WEST VIRGINIA

PG TRUCK BRYANT (SR)
SG NOAH COTTRILL (FR)
SL CASEY MITCHELL (SR)
PF KEVIN JONES (JR)
C DENIZ KILICLI (SO)

Rotation: PG Joe Mazzulla, PF Kevin Noreen, SF John Flowers, SG Dalton Pepper, F Cam Thoroughman

Huggy Bear always gets alot out of his players and this year will be no different. Getting a late committ from Noreen over Indiana was huge as he represents a highly skilled of-size big man. Jones will be a dominant rebounder and defender no doubt but the key will be outside shooting. 1 of home grown Cottrill, Pepper, or Mitchell needs to break 10ppg.

Prediction: 23-12 TOURNY 8 SEED

NBA PROSPECT
SF KEVIN JONES (6-8, 255)

PF MIKE DAVIS (SR - 10.7p - 9.2r - 47.3FG%)
C MIKE TISDALE (SR - 11.9p - 6.0r - 58.5FG%)

Rotaion: G Brandon Paul, PF Bill Cole, F Tyler Griffey, C Meyers Leonard, SG Joseph Bertrand, G Crandall Head

Easily one of the deepest teams in the nation. The 3 starting seniors all want to win bad and they have a top 10 recruiting class coming in to help. This is the year that Illini have a legit shot at being a top 10 team.

Prediction: 26-9 TOURNY 3 SEED

NBA PROSPECT
PG Demetri McCamey (6-3, 195)
SF Jereme Richmond (6-8, 195)

C BOBBY CAPOBIANCO (SO)

Rotation: PF Derek Elston, C Tom Pritchard, PG Jeremiah Rivers, SG Matt Roth, G Victor Oladipo, SF Will Sheehey

The Hoosiers are still young but are getting a huge boost from returning injured players Roth and Creek. Both players were the team's best shooters by a mile before succoming to leg issues. Creek is the team's best offensive player right away and should get steady help from now #1 point guard Hulls and athletic Watford. Improved, absolutely... But still another year away from that 20 win mark.

Prediction: 16-19

NBA PROSPECT
SG Maurice Creek (6-5, 200)

IOWA

PG CULLY PAYNE (SO)
SG MATT GATENS (JR)
SF ERIC MAY (SO)
PF DEVON ARCHIE (JR)
PF JARRYD COLE (SR)

Rotation: G Bryce Cartwright, C Andrew Brommer, F Melsahn Basabe

As much as this team has been torn apart by loss it is still a competitive group. Gatens and May are really good collegiate players that would contribute to the biggest of programs. The depth isn't there and the bigs are out of place and inexperienced so this year likely won't lead to good things... However, Gatens Senior year should see the Iowa program rise from the ashes.

Prediction: 14-21

MICHIGAN

PG DARIUS MORRIS (SO)
SG TIM HARDAWAY (FR)
SF ZACK NOVAK (JR)
PF EVAN SMOTRYCZ (FR)
C JORDAN MORGAN (FR)

Rotation: G Stu Douglass, F Colton Christian, PF Jon Horford

These 8 just don't have the chemistry, talent, or knowledge to play at this level yet. At least 2 and likely 3 freshman will start and your best offensive weapon is Novak? The star of the team looks to be Morris combined with Hardaway but both look inconsistent to me.

Prediction: 8-27

MICHIGAN STATE

PG KALIN LUCAS (SR - 14.8p - 4.0a - 77.2FT%)
SG DURRELL SUMMERS (SR - 11.3p - 4.7r - 79.5FT%)

F DRAYMOND GREEN (JR - 9.9p - 7.7r - 52.5FG%)
C DERRICK NIX (SO)

Rotation: PG Korie Lucious, C Garrick Sherman, G Keith Appling, PF Adrien Payne

Again the Spartans are stacked from head to toe. The second team for MSU is a top 25 team. Returning leader Lucas will have the reigns again and the only thing this team really needs is for Summers to play like he did in the tourny and down the stretch. A lock to be a great team.

Prediction: 30-5 TOURNY 1 SEED

NBA PROSPECT
PG Kalin Lucas (6-0, 190)
SG Durrell Summers (6-4, 205)
SF Draymond Green (6-6, 235)

PG AL NOLEN (SR)
SG DEVOE JOSEPH (JR)
SF RODNEY WILLIAMS (SO)
PF COLTON IVERSON (JR)
C RALPH SAMPSON (JR)

Rotation: G Blake Hoffarber, C Maurice Walker, PF Elliott Eliason

Tubby has a real good team here. Both Joseph and Williams look like All-Big Ten players and this may be the year they play like it. There are 4-5 good contributing bigs here as well, with most of the offense running through Sampson by the end of last season.

Prediction: 22-13 TOURNY 11 SEED

NBA PROSPECT
PG Devoe Joseph (6-3, 179)
SF Rodney Williams 6-7, 200)
C Ralph Sampson (6-11, 241)

F JOHN SHURNA (JR - 18.2p - 6.4 - 77.5FT%)
C LUKA MIRKOVIC (JR)

Rotation: G Jershon Cobb, C Davide Curletti, PF Ivan Peljusic, SG Mike Capocci

This is the best chance that the cats have to make the Tourny, maybe ever. A 3 headed scoring trio of Thompson, Crawford, and Shurna should really dominate most Big Ten teams. Call me crazy, but I think they are going to do it.

Prediction: 21-14 NIT (First 4 Out)

NBA PROSPECT
PG Michael Thompson (5-10, 190)
SF John Shurna (6-8, 215)

OHIO STATE

G JON DIEBLER (SR - 13.0p - 2.8r - 42.0TP%)

PF DALLAS LAUDERDALE (SR)
C JARED SULLINGER (FR)

Rotation: F Deshaun Thomas, G Aaron Craft, SG Jordan Sibert, G Lenzelle Smith, SF JD Weatherspoon

One of the most talented teams in the nation, but can they all co-exist? That is the big question here. Who will run the point? Would a Craft or Smith be ready or should they just let Diebler walk up the ball and start the offense? A very good team, but in no way great.

Prediction: 24-11 TOURNY 6 SEED

NBA PROSPECT
SG William Buford (6-5, 205)
PF Jared Sullinger (6-9, 280)
SF DeShaun Thomas (6-6, 230)

PENN STATE

PG TALOR BATTLE (SR - 18.5p - 5.3r - 4.2a)
SG CAMMERON WOODYARD (JR)
SF DAVID JACKSON (SR)
F JEFF BROOKS (SR)
C ANDREW JONES (SR)

Rotation: G Taran Buie, G Tim Frazier, F Jonathon Graham, PF Sasa Borovnjak

Battle comes back for his last season and the best part of it is that he recruits his half brother Taran Buie to take his place when he leaves. Buie is really good already and could start with Battle if they weren't both so ball dominant. A Brooks - Jackson - Jones supporting cast isn't bad for Battle but it isn't great either which is why another medicore season is starring at them.

Prediction: 19-16 NIT

NBA PROSPECT
PG Talor Battle (6-0, 170)
PG Taran Buie (6-2, 185)

C JAJUAN JOHNSON (SR - 15.5p - 7.1r - 50.7FG%)

Rotation: PG Lewis Jackson, G Kelsey Barlow, SG Anthony Johnson, PF Patrick Bade, G Ryne Smith, C Travis Carroll, C Sandi Marcius

Everything has led up to this year. It's title or bust for the 3 seniors and they know it I'm sure. Ready-bodied recruit Terone Johnson is the key here. He is more talented than Jackson but is he ready for this gig?

Prediction: 29-6 TOURNY 2 SEED

NBA PROSPECT

PF KEATON NANKIVIL (SR)

Rotation: SG Rob Wilson, C Evan Anderson, PF Jared Berggren, G Ben Brust, PG John Gasser, SF Duje Dukan

I've said it a million times, I think Coach Ryan is the best coach in the nation. He is always a sixth man on the court and gets the most of his players. This year it is all about Taylor and Leuer. The weight of the team is squarely on them. IF 1 of the bigs other than the solid Nankivil comes up big then this team can win alot of close games.

PAC 10

ARIZONA

PG KYLE FOGG (JR)
SG DANIEL BEJARANO (FR)
SF SOLOMON HILL (SO)
PF JAMELLE HORNE (SR)
C DERRICK WILLIAMS (SO - 15.7p - 7.1r - 57.4FG%)

Rotation: PG Lamont Jones, SG Brandon Lavender, C Kyryl Natyazhko, SF Kevin Parrom, F Jesse Perry, PG Jordin Mayes

The additions of Bejarano, Perry, and Mayes means that the future is bright. The present however is contingent on if Natyazhko shows up. This guy was suppose to be a possible 1 and done dominant center and yet he was one of the worst big men in the country. Williams, Bejarano, and Perry is a nice 3 man team.

Prediction: 22-13 TOURNY 10 SEED

NBA PROSPECT
PF Derrick Williams (6-8, 240)
SG Daniel Bejarano (6-5, 205)

ARIZONA STATE

PG JAMELLE MCMILLAN (SR)
SG TY ABBOTT (SR)
SF KEALA KING (FR)
F RIHARDS KUKSIKS (SR)
C RUSLAN PATEEV (SO)

Rotation: SG Trent Lockett, C Alex English, F Kyle Cain, SF Chance Creekmur

NIT talk from the experts... Really? Experts? I thought they were huge over-acheivers last season and are done their only post player with no ready bigs coming in. The Lativan gunslinger and Abbott make up an ok 1-2 scoring punch and Sendek is a good coach but I feel they will be outmatched most nights on the boards.

Prediction: 15-20

CALIFORNIA

PG JORGE GUTIERREZ (JR)
SG ALLEN CRABBE (FR)
SF ALEX ROSSI (FR)
PF MARKHURI SANDERS-FRISON (SR)
C MAX ZHANG (JR)

Rotation: G Gary Franklin, PF Harper Kamp, F Richard Solomon, G Emerson Murray

Double M has his work cut out for him. This team just doesn't look very good on paper. At least 2 and maybe 3 freshman will start and they are depending on a 7-3 Zhang to anchor a team after posting 3ppg/2rpg as a sophmore. As of today, their best player is freshman Allen Crabbe. Should be in that 10-12ppg.

Prediction: 12-23

OREGON

PG MALCOLM ARMSTEAD (JR)
SG LEKENDRIC LONGMIRE (SR)
SF EJ SINGLER (SO)
F JEREMY JACOB (JR)
PF JOEVAN CATRON (SR)

Rotation: PG Garrett Sim, SG Teondre Williams, PG Jonathon Loyd, F Tyrone Nared

These are the only 8 players worthy of PT. The lose of Dunningan and their only real big body is a reason to call a Mulligan for the upcoming season. They would be a decent competitive team with him and now they are just an undersized group of athletes. They will compete, but lose more than they win.

Prediction: 17-18

OREGON STATE

PG CALVIN HAYNES (SR)
SG ROBERTO NELSON (FR)
SF JARED CUNNINGHAM (SO)
PF OMARI JOHNSON (SR)
C CHRIS BROWN (FR)

Rotation: PF Devon Collier, PF Joe Burton, PF Daniel Deane, G Lathen Wallace, PG Ahmad Starks

This is a pretty decent team. 8-10 in conference last year and the conference is not as good by a long shot. Could be a bubble team by years end as they have 3 good things working for them; perimeter scoring from Haynes, Nelson, and Cunningham, 7 players 6'7/220 and above, and instant impact newcomers across the position line.

21-14 NIT

STANFORD

PG JARRETT MANN (JR)
SG JEREMY GREEN (JR - 16.6p - 3.8r - 81.5FT%)
SF ANTHONY BROWN (FR)
PF JACK TROTTER (JR)
C DWIGHT POWELL (FR)

Rotation: PG Aaron Bright, PF Andrew Zimmerman, F Josh Huestis, PF Andy Brown

After going through a few coaches at one of the nation's premere jobs (imo) the Cardinal look to have their guy. Dawkins has brought in a 7 man class and returns two MR/S to bolster a team that returns their very solid backcourt. Experts don't like them, I do.

Prediction: 20-15 NIT (First 4 Out)

NBA PROSPECT
SG Jeremy Green (6-4, 190)
PF Dwight Powell (6-10, 215)

UCLA

PG MALCOLM LEE (JR - 12.1p - 4.4r - 3.1a)
SG TYLER LAMB (FR)
SF TYLER HONEYCUTT (SO)
PF REEVES NELSON (SO)
C JOSH SMITH (FR)

Rotation: PG Jerime Anderson, G Lazeric Jones, SG Matt Carlino, C Anthony Stover

Recent hard times aside just look at all the 5star "talent" Howland has on this current team. The starting lineup looks to be the most talented in the Pac-10 but they will likely start 2 Freshman and 2 Sophmores to pair with an under-acheiving pointguard who sometimes thinks he is a shooting guard. This is a nice team that should return to at the very least the highlight reel.

Prediction: 23-12 TOURNY 9 SEED

NBA PROSPECT
PG Malcolm Lee (6-4, 195)
SG Tyler Lamb (6-4, 205)
SF Tyler Honeycutt (6-8, 183)
C Josh Smith (6-10, 305)

USC

PG JIO FONTAN (JR)
SG BRYCE JONES (FR)
SF MARCUS SIMMONS (SR)
PF ALEX STEPHONSON (SR)
C NIKOLA VUCEVIC (JR - 10.7p - 9.4r - 50.4FG%)

Rotation: SF Garrett Jackson, PG Maurice Jones, F Curtis Washington

They start with a returning duo of big men that are very improved which is always good. Freshman Bryce Jones can score and Fontan is real good coming in. The problem is that Fontan is going to miss the 1st semester games and that leaves a 5'7 Freshman or Senior Smith before then. A team trying to make up a lost 40ppg may need a year.

Prediction: 18-17 NIT

NBA PROSPECT
SG Bryce Jones (6-5, 175)
C Nikola Vucevic (6-10, 240)

WASHINGTON

PG ISAIAH THOMAS (JR - 16.9p - 3.9r - 3.2a)
SG TERRENCE ROSS (FR)
SF JUSTIN HOLIDAY (SR)
PF DARNELL GANT (JR)
C MATTHEW BRYAN-AMANING (SR)

Rotation: G Abdul Gaddy, PG Venoy Overton, C Aziz N'Diaye, PF Tyreese Breshers, SF Scott Suggs

The entrance of Ross means that the loss of Pondexter won't be as noticable if any other freshman took his spot. Gaddy was awful last year and for whatever reason got tons of PT he didn't earn. I say bench him for Ross-Holiday until Thomas leaves. MB-A is solid as a player, but this team is all about the ball hogs... Luckily for them they are pretty good.

F PATRICK SIMON (FR)
PF DEANGLEO CASTO (JR - 10.7p - 7.0r - 49.8FG%)

Rotation: G Marcus Capers, SF Abe Lodwick, SG Dexter Kernich-Drew, PF Charlie Enquist

Not a lot of people picking the Cougars... Why? They have the best player in the conference and I can argue a top 3 conference point guard. The real key here is early contributions from Aden and Simon. Those 2 players are going to be really key factors on if they can be an elite team.

Prediction: 25-10 TOURNY 4 SEED

NBA PROSPECT
PG Reggie Moore (6-1, 178)

PF JAMYCHAL GREEN (JR - 14.1p - 7.2r - 49.5FG%)
PF JASON CARTER (FR)

Rotation: G Kendall Durant, G Charvez Davis, PG Senario Hillman, PF Chris Hines

The return of Steele, the addition of Releford, and the emergence of Mitchell will all be vital to keep the tides hopes of tourny run afloat. Green is a nice combo forward who should have a nice 17/9 type of season. The tide may be up and down all year, but they could be dangerous as they can certainly play up to better teams.

Prediction: 20-15 NIT

NBA PROSPECT
SF Jamychal Green (6-8, 228)

F MARSHAWN POWELL (SO - 14.9p - 6.7r - 50.0FG%)
F DELVON JOHNSON

Rotation: G Marcus Britt, G Julysses Nobles, SG Rickey Scott, PF Marvel Waithe

Height is the issue is across the board but this team can neuturalize it with Clarke's shooting. Easily one of the best shooters in the country, having Peterson and a dominant Powell will help Clarke get better looks this year. A 3 man led team with a bunch of scrubs.

Prediction: 19-16 NIT

NBA PROSPECT
SF Marshawn Powell (6-7, 220)

PG CHRIS DENSON (FR)
SG FRANKIE SULLIVAN (JR)
SF EARNEST ROSS (SO)
PF LUKE COTHRON (FR)
C SHAWN KEMP (FR)

Rotation: SG Andre Malone, F Kenny Gabriel, PF Adrian Forbes

The fact that the team is going rely on 2 freshman big is tough. Throw in the fact that Kemp may not even be eligible and this team is in trouble. This 8 man rotation is short on height, talent, and experience.

Prediction: 8-27

C VERNON MACKLIN (SR)

Rotation: F Erick Murphy, PF Cody Larson, SF Casey Prather, F Will Yeguette, PF Patric Young

This team is back to the elite level it was at for 3 years. It is a complete team head to toe and should be on the short list for contending teams. My only issue is with Boynton's shot selection at times. Young comes in off the bench and should absolutely dominant the glass as he is a monster out there.

Prediction: 28-7 TOURNY 1 SEED

NBA PROSPECT

Rotation: F Connor Nolte, G Gerald Robinson, PF Chris Barnes

8 guys that can all contribute each play. The team is well balanced and has a top 10 in the nation duo. Both Leslie and Thompkins are expected to bolt so I expect a good year.

Prediction: 24-11 TOURNY 5 SEED

NBA PROSPECT

PG BRANDON KNIGHT (FR)
SG DORON LAMB (FR)
SF DARIUS MILLER (JR)
F TERRANCE JONES (FR)
C ENES KANTER (FR)

Rotation: SF DeAndre Liggins, SG Stacey Poole, PF Eloy Vargas

Another year, another 5 star class. Except that Kanter (the best of the group) isn't cleared to play yet. If he can't play, this is just a 20 win team tops. If he plays then can control the boards and man the middle... making the perimeter play a little bit more fluid.

Prediction: 26-9 TOURNY 4 SEED

NBA PROSPECT

Their heart and soul player is gone and they went 11-20 with him... Add in a decent up and down class and the future looks ok, but the present looks real bad; again.

SG RAVERN JOHNSON (SR)
SF TWANY BECKHAM (SO)
PF KODI AUGUSTUS (SR)
C RENARDO SIDNEY (SO)

Rotation: G Riley Benock, SF Shaun Smith, PF Wenderll Lewis

The long awaited debut of Sidney comes when the team loses it's 3 best players from a 24 win team. The team has options though as a Johnson-Sidney combo is among the leagues best inside-outside combinations. Well traveled point guard Bryant is a good player and could make the transition seem effortless.

Prediction: 23-12 TOURNY 9 SEED

35ppg and a ton of intangables are gone from last year's surprise team. Replacements in Nick Williams (former Indiana 2 guard) and a incoming freshman Cox and Williams might help but likely more in a year.

Prediction: 18-17 NIT

SG RAMON GALLOWAY (SO)
SF LAKEEM JACKSON (SO)
PF JOHNDRE JEFFERSON (SR)

Other than the 2 senior bigs this team is as inexperienced as any team in the nation. Go to scorer??? By seasons end it may be freshman Slawson, who looks like the most talented player on the roster.

Prediction: 9-26

Deep, athletic, and diverse. The Vols are one of the most intriguing groups of talent I see in the nation this year. Hopson should be good, but Harris may already be better. Add in a very long list of good reserves and high energy players and Pearl has a very good team.

Prediction: 24-11 TOURNY 5 SEED

PF ANDRE WALKER (JR)
C STEVE TCHIENGANG (JR)

Rotation: F Rod Odom, PG Kyle Fuller, C Festus Ezeli, PF Lance Goulbourne

9 guys here that can all average over 10mpg. Jenkins, like Rotnei Clarke, is one of the best shooters in the country. Alot of teams will try and stop Taylor so he should be able to kick to his perimeter partner Jenkins alot this season. Odom coming in is huge and he should do well against less talented 2nd team bigs for a season.

NBA PROSPECTS
1. SG Harrison Barnes (6-7, 215)
ENTER: Will come out after a great (say 16-7-3) Freshman year. #1 pick

2. PG Corey Jospeh (6-3, 180)
ENTER: Will start and play lockdown D and prove he can run a team better than the others. Top 10 pick.

3. F Perry Jones (6-10, 220)
ENTER: Should flash some of the brillance that he has enough to make him a top 10 pick.

4. PF Tristian Thompson (6-9, 230)
ENTER: Benefits from having his personal point guard and should put up 12-14/6-8 in first year.

5. PG Kyrie Irving (6-2, 180)
STAY: Numbers will be ok, but not as good as next seasons. No Singler / Smith; more focus on he, Curry, and Rivers.

6. PF Patric Young (6-9, 225)
STAY: Will be a sixth man in first year, Top 10 pick next season. An absolute beast.

7. PF Enes Kanter (6-10, 240)
ENTER: He is at Kentucky to be a top pick and thus he shall. Guessing a 10 / 10 night all year.

8. PG Josh Selby (6-2, 183)
STAY: Isn't as good as Irving or Joseph and likely needs 2 years to really be a top 10 pick like he thinks he is.

9. C Fab Melo (7-0, 265)
STAY: Is going to need 2 years to dominant. Will be good due to size right away, but the team will need him more next season.

10. SF Roscoe Smith (6-8, 205)
ENTER: I believe that by years end he will be one of the nation's best and most exciting freshman. He will get alot of numbers with Walker by his side.

11. PG Kemba Walker (6-1, 172)
ENTER: He has been on the circuit, around the globe, and under-rated for a long time. He is really good and a great leader already.

12. SG Terrence Ross (6-6, 180)
STAY: He is going to need 2 years and then should leave when Thomas departs. Should be a nice 15-20ppg scorer as a sophmore so I'd wait.

13. PF Jared Sullinger (6-9, 280)
ENTER: Should get some decent numbers in a thin Big Ten: Around 13/8 I'd guess. That is enough to enter when you are his size and have his talent.

14. PG Maalik Wayns (6-1, 185)
STAY: Way better than Fisher imo, but he won't be the man until his senior year. A very unknown gem in most circles, pro scouts know him though.

15. PF Trey Thompkins (6-10, 247)
ENTER: Georgia bye-bye. He and Leslie are done wasting their time in G/A. A talented of-size 4 man with a good arrange of moves around the hoop.

16. SG Alec Burks (6-6, 185)
ENTER: Higgins leaves and so should he. Has the height and ability to be even better at the next level.

17. PG Brandon Knight (6-3, 183)
ENTER: He came to Kentucky to be a pro. Not as good imo as others, but still should make for a decent pro. Freshman year 13/3/5 not bad.

18. SG Jeffrey Taylor (6-7, 225)
ENTER: Scouts love his all-around game and it is definitly time to take it to the pro level. Has an NBA ready IQ too.

19. C Josh Smith (6-10, 305)
ENTER: Should he enter? No. However, he isn't stupid and understands the premium on size. Will be a focal point and thus the numbers will be good (12/9)

20. PG Reggie Jackson (6-3 200)
ENTER: Unknown to a lot of people, but not me. He could be great if he wants to be. Bottom line is that BC will be losing a lot of players and he should bounce.

21. PG Jimmer Fredette (6-2, 195)
ENTER: A Senior that plays an intense game every night. A quick shooter with a rare display of skills. Will be passed over for younger models with MAA resumes though.

22. F CJ Leslie (6-8, 210)
ENTER: NC State has a decent team, but he doesn't want to stay in school. Will be a nice freshman player too; 11/8

23. C Mouphtaou Yarou (6-10, 250)
STAY: Not quite there yet after an up and down 1st year. Has the size and ability to be a dominant Big East center. Likely 3-4 year player.

24. SF Kyle Singler (6-8, 230)
ENTER: A Senior that has won it all and scored a ton in the ACC. Has a good midrange game and great bball IQ. Likely mid 1st rounder.

25. SF Elias Harris (6-8, 215)
ENTER: This Zag's hype will be at an all-time high and he needs to capitalize on it. I do not think he is a great pro prospect though. Just an NBA end of the bench 3man.

26. SF Jimmy Butler (6-7, 220)
ENTER: A Senior that really came out of no where as a Junior and is now 1 of the best players in the Big East. A versatile wing that can bolster a good team's bench next year.

27. SF Wes Weatherspoon (6-9, 210)
ENTER: Should have the ball alot more this year and thus a 14/7 campaign should get him drafted. Nice frame to add strength will make him a 1st rounder.

28. SF Tobias Harris (6-8, 220)
STAY: Will be a tough decision but I say stay as next season the numbers will go up. A good first year (say 9/7) should lead to a great sophmore year (say 14/9) and a top 10 spot.

29. PG Shelvin Mack (6-3, 215)
ENTER: Scouts know him on the national map as well and are all impressed. Has the balance in his game to be the lead and be a 8-10 year NBA backup point no doubt about it.

30. C Renardo Sidney (6-10, 260)
ENTER: He wants the money and has the size / talent. Numbers should be huge too (16/10). A team with time and in-set starters at the 4/5's will take a gamble on him in the 1st round.
-----------------------------------------------

31. G Seth Curry (6-1, 175)
STAY: Will likely be the nation's best sixth man. A supreme scorer with amazing bloodlines he would be wise to wait until he is a starter next season.

32. SG Maurice Creek (6-5, 200)
STAY: After only 12 games you could already tell that he has ice water in his veins after making Kentucy's blue chippers look silly trying to guard him. He needs two more years of consistent scoring. 16ppg this year, 19ppg next.

33. PF Chris Singleton (6-9, 227)
ENTER: Spent the summer wisely by training with the best. I expect a big year from him in the range of 15/9/2. Could be a nice backup 4 in the league.

34. SF Marshawn Powell (6-7, 220)
ENTER: Tough call here as Clarke/Peterson will be seniors his junior year and they would have a chance to be a 25 win team, but his stock should never be higher after what I think could be a 17/8 year.

35. SG LaceDarius Dunn (6-4, 205)
ENTER: A Senior that has a well rounded game to be a good backup 2guard in the league for 5-7 years.

36. SG Travis Leslie (6-4, 202)
ENTER: He and Thompkins have out stayed their welcome in Georgia. They are simply too good. Leslie can shoot and has a ready made NBA build after working hard. A nice backup option for a playoff team.

37. PG Nolan Smith (6-2, 185)
ENTER: A Senior that credits Seth Curry for his growth in his Junior campaign he may have very well played up into that Chris Duhon career backup position which was always about his ceiling anyways. Defense will get him drafted if he improves even more.

38. SF Chandler Parsons (6-9, 218)
ENTER: A Senior whose numbers were never as good as he is because of the teams balance. I feel that he has a place in the league as a 6-9 3pt shooter. Not as good as Mike Miller, but the framework and skill are present.

39. PG Dion Waiters (6-3, 214)
STAY: Not alot of people know him, but he is going to be the face of the team by next season. He has that Baron Davis bulldog type of game and I think a year or two as starter and he could be a top 5 pick if he really works on his game; he is that talented.

40. SG William Buford (6-5, 205)
ENTER: A junior that will leave with Sullinger and Diebler after what should be a very nice season. Has an all-around game but I feel he does not have that "im the man" demeanor that his size and position should command. Talented enough to be a second rounder, likely D league star.

41. PG Reggie Moore (6-1, 178)
ENTER: This hinges on what Klay Thompson is going to do and I think he will enter due to little number growth left. Moore is a very good player but he is a fringe draftee to be sure. A complete point guard that could be a 2nd rounder if he improves his shooting numbers by 5% across the board.

42. PF Augustus Gilchrist (6-10, 245)
ENTER: A very under-rated big man. He should have good numbers as he will be more of a focus on the team after Dominique Jones left. A 16/9 year and a great frame get him a 2nd round ticket.

43. SF Kevin Jones (6-8, 255)
STAY: Very tough call as Jones is definitly a late 1st / early 2nd prospect even before this season. He is a very good defender and has a built frame for the pro level already. I think playing to a senior level can allow him more of an offensive resume than he has had to date and could improve his late 1st tag.

44. SG John Jenkins (6-4, 215)
STAY: 1 more year as the likely departing of star Taylor will let him be the man in the 11-12 season. He could average 20 in that season and will be drafted mid-1st due to his amazing shooting numbers.

45. SF Mike Singeltary (6-6, 235)
ENTER: A Senior that has a great frame to be an end of the bench pro that can defend, make the smart plays, and takes what he is given. He has the frame and strength to play at the next level; likely end of round 2 draftee.

46. C Jordan Williams (6-10, 260)
STAY: He may bolt after this year if he averages a double-double, which he likely will. A 14/10 season is expected from him. I feel that he needs to stay and watch Mosley be a Senior and prove that he can beat the best freshman bigs on the biggest stages. Come out as a junior.

47. PF Drew Gordon (6-9, 245)
ENTER: New Mexico is going to be good again in the high 20s. He will be a big part of that as I feel he will be in that 15/9 range and be Newcomer of the Year and maybe POY in conference. He has the size and high school resume in that scouts already are comfortable with him. Stock won't be higher; go get a second round paycheck.

48. SG Kim English (6-6, 200)
STAY: He has had way too much on his plate to shoot at a high percentage. He needs to really work on his shot in order to be drafted and that is why I feel he will be forced into his Senior year; not a bad thing though as scouts want to see him win games too next season.

49. SG Klay Thompson (6-6, 200)
ENTER: He can not improve his numbers nor his draft stock by staying, so leave. Moore will help them win and that should help scouts get more games (double dip big games). Has a nice scorer touch as he is very confident on the court. Has good 2 guard size and should be an early second rounder.

50. PF Lavoy Allen (6-9, 225)
ENTER: A Senior not talked about in many circles but he did average a double-double as a junior. Has a nice frame to add muscle and I think he is a good second round pick for any team as he can fit in with a lot of different schemes. A very safe early second pick.

51. SF Rodney Williams 6-7, 200)
STAY: I'm a big fan of productivity. He has none. He is 1 of the most talented athletes in the country but isn't a pure scorer. Most sites have him as a top pick based on ability; why? Devoe Joseph is going to be the man this year and next season Rodney should be the #2 in his junior year when he should enter.

52. SF Tim Abromaitis (6-8, 235)
ENTER: A Senior that really came on as a junior. He has great size as a three man and really picks and chooses his shooting spots wisely. He should be in that 18-19ppg mark and if he is over 40% from 3 could be a mid to late 2nd rounder.

53. PF Dante Taylor (6-9, 240)
STAY: With Dixon, you know his offense is will be guard heavy. Even so a player like Blair can dominant the paint and get his numbers and thus Taylor can also improve. He won't be featured ever but his rebounding will be top notch real soon. 2 more years, come out as a junior when he could average 13/9.

54. PG Ray McCallum (6-1, 185)
STAY: I believe 2 years playing for Dad will be enough for him. I would venture to guess that the goal is to win a Tourny game and prove that Detriot can and will be a place recruits can come. This goal would accomplish both the sons and the fathers wishes.

55. SG Jeremy Hazell (6-5, 188)
ENTER: A Senior with good scoring numbers but I'm not a fan of his stroke. He needs to improve his shooting numbers by 3-5% across the board in order to be a mid-late 2nd otherwise he is a D league star in the making.

56. SF Jordan Hamilton (6-7, 226)
STAY: This season is all about Joseph / Thompson with a complement of a talented Hamilton. I think he gets 14 / 6 this year that is very draftable but if he stays he can be in that 19/7 range as a junior and secure a mid 1st selection.

57. SF Tyler Honeycutt (6-8, 183)
STAY: A tough decision as I see a nice year for him against a weak Pac-10. Say 13/8 which is late 1st/early 2nd given his ability. Still though I think he would benefit by bulking up and truly dominating as a junior and raising his grade to mid 1st to even late lotto if he improves his shot making.

58. SG Corey Higgins (6-5, 190)
ENTER: A Senior that I have always liked. I predicted a late 1st round grade to him before last season and I felt he should have tested out higher. Has a nice all around game and should be a nice end of the bench guard at the pro level if he improves his strength which is lacking. A decent late 2nd round pick.

59. PF Derrick Williams (6-8, 240)
ENTER: I don't see his stock going higher and I like him in that early 2nd round mix as he has proven to be a good rebounder. Arizona is going to miss him, but he needs to bolt now.

60. PF Marcus Morris (6-8, 225)
STAY: I don't think his game will be any better from his junior year (this season) to next year but I think winning helps his resume. At best he is an early second rounder with a nice mid range game as an undersized 4. He is not as atheltic to be a 3 and that hurts him. Stay in school or play overseas next season.
------------------------------------------------

61. C Meyers Leonard (7-0, 215)
STAY: Won't be a starter and needs weight and time. A likely 3-4 year player not ready yet to be a major college star, just a good one as a freshman.

62. SF DeShaun Thomas (6-6, 230)
STAY: Will be the sixth man on a talented team and then will be the best player on a good team next year. 9ppg as a sixth man to 17 as a sophmore.

63. PG Malcolm Lee (6-4, 195)
ENTER: I just think he wants to enter, so he will. I'm not impressed with him at all as a leader or a player despite ok numbers. Smith and Honeycutt would make better pros unless he really actually becomes a point guard and not an underfined tweener.

64. SF Terrance Jones (6-9, 230)
STAY: A year playing as Kanter's sidekick will be a big time learning experience and next year he should benefit from having more responsibilites with Teague and Gilchrist leaning on him a little more than Knight will.

65. PG Jacob Pullen (6-0, 200)
ENTER: A Senior that is a great leader and has all the tricks of an NBA vet already. Could be a decent late 2nd round pick for a team in need an insurance backup or 3rd point in place that they can have faith in.

66. SG Daniel Bejarano (6-5, 205)
STAY: Will score right away, but adding another year of numbers and expanding to an all around game will help his stock.

67. PF Dwight Powell (6-10, 215)
STAY: Not highly thought of right now, IF he can add wait in a season could shoot up these rankings. If he is 240 by the end of next season is draftable, could be a big time prospect if he dominants in his junior year.

68. SG Bryce Jones (6-5, 175)
STAY: A really nice SG prospect that will play 25mpg as a freshman and could add weight and numbers in sophmore year and be draftable. Likely 3-4 year player.

69. SG Austin Freeman (6-4, 227)
ENTER: A Senior that was always going to be a better college player than a pro player. Learn to speak hebrew or italian.

70. PG Taran Buie (6-2, 185)
STAY: Battle's replacement will be better than he was by the time his 3-4 year career is done. A taller version and thus a more NBA appealing option than Battle in 3-4 years time.

71. PF James Johnson (6-9, 234)
STAY: Will need 2-4 years to build an array of moves that can consistently yield numbers but has an amazing frame and looks like a kid that really wants to be good.

72. SG Vander Blue (6-4, 190)
STAY: Marquette hasn't lost a step since Crean left for Indiana. Blue is a scorer and should be the focus in year 2. Likely will declare / test in his junior year with near 17-19ppg numbers.

73. PF Alex Tyus (6-8, 220)
ENTER: Undersized Senior 4 man actually has a shot at being drafted because he can run the floor and has a nice midrange game. Outside shot at late 2nd round but likely overseas player.

74. PG Kalin Lucas (6-0, 190)
ENTER: A Senior year where he is coming back from injury so we'll see. Healthy he was a second rounder looked at as a backup spark plug. Outside shot at a second round pick but likely overseas option is his best.

75. SG Kenny Boynton (6-2, 183)
STAY: Improved his shot selection late last season and proved he could score on drives. Still, he is a SG in a PG's body and that kills him to scouts. Must prove he can run the point and dish it (not his game) and thus he is stuck in school for another year. Will score 15ppg though.

76. SF Jamar Samuels (6-7, 220)
STAY: Good frame and a nice cleanup 3 man at the collegiate level already but can't hit a free throw and can't score on the dribble. Likely just a good college player that has a future overseas as a cleanup and rebounding 3man.

77. C Nikola Vucevic (6-10, 240)
ENTER: The Montenegro native improved a ton last year and should again this year. Could be looked at as a late second rounder for teams looking for skilled bigs but I think his living is back in Europe where he can be a star.

78. PF Keith Benson (6-10, 235)
ENTER: A Senior that has had a very nice career at a small school. He could play and be a productive starter for any major team in the country. He is definitly in the discussion of a 2nd round flyer.

79. PG Malcolm Delaney (6-3, 190)
ENTER: A Senior that has been a tough nosed scorer against top guards in the ACC for years.... But he shoots it too often and below 40% way too often. He is a nice player but I think that he is outmatched at the pro level. D league star.

80. F Milton Jennings (6-9, 225)
STAY: He needs to really work on his game against tough defenders. I saw alot of him in high school against big time talent and he was really impressive with an outside game. Needs 2 more years and a mean streak.

82. PF Herb Pope (6-8, 236)
ENTER: He wants to enter, so he will. An undersized 4 man in the NBA but dominant rebounder in college is the story here. Can't hit a midrange J or Freethrow at all so teams might stay away. Knicks may draft him though ;). Would be best in the Isreal league.

83. SF Jamychal Green (6-8, 228)
STAY: Classic tweener. I'm not even sure if he is a 3 or a 4 at the next level. Good player with room to grow. Needs to either hit a consistent midrange shot or put on 15 pounds and average 10rpg. Either way, needs 2 seasons.

84. PG Durand Scott (6-3, 195)
STAY: He should be 1 of the most improved players in the ACC and a definite pro prospect, but I think he stays to his Junior season when he should be one of the best players in conference and has more nation attention.

85. PG Ashton Gibbs (6-2, 190)
STAY: He will stay until his senior year as he is an undersized 2 or a shoot first point. Too good of a shooter to average under 40% also.

86. SF Jereme Richmond (6-8, 195)
STAY: Will likely need 3-4 years to mold his behavior, weight, shot, maturity, and drive. Talent and height are there, needs to prove his passion for the game.

87. PF JaJuan Johnson (6-10, 216)
ENTER: A Senior with the best shot at being drafted out of the big 3 from Purdue. He failed to add on the much needed weight he has to have to play at the next level. Outside shot at being drafted late as his midrange jumper is very solid.

88. PF Wally Judge (6-9, 248)
STAY: Will need 3-4 seasons to reign in his skills but has a chance to be a monster on the glass and put back a lot of shots.

89. PG Demetri McCamey (6-3, 195)
ENTER: Good sized point Senior and has tested the waters before. Had a nice bounce back Junior year and should be the leader this season for a very good Illini team. I see him being a starting point overseas.

90. SG Scotty Hopson (6-7, 205)
ENTER: He wants to, so he will. Not a good shooter at all. Has the athletic ability to get by people and has good court vision as well. Will be a nice wing for a D-league team looking for a high riser.
--------------------------------------------------

91. PG Talor Battle (6-0, 170)
ENTER: A Senior that has tested well but his height will always keep him back. Very few shooting guards near 6 ft make it to the league and he won't be another one. A good career in Europe awaits him.

92. PG Corey Fisher (6-1, 200)
ENTER: A better playground player than NBA prospect any day, Fisher has good skill and looks the part of a 3rd string NBA point but I just don't think he will be drafted unless he really has a breakout 17-4-6 season.

93. SG Jeremy Green (6-4, 190)
STAY: A good player that is hurt by his size as a projected NBA 2guard. A very good shooter and player already and should really improve his shooting percentages this year and next and could be drafted by Seniors end.

94. SG Dorenzo Hudson (6-5, 220)
ENTER: A Senior that improved a ton last season just isn't that skilled with the ball in his hands. He would need to improve a ton off the dribble to be on scouts radar.

95. SG DJ Kennedy (6-5, 214)
ENTER: A multi-skilled Senior that has a very slim chance of being drafted. I think his team's success is directly aligned with his stock this year. Unlikely draftee, D-League reserve.

96. SG Trey Ziegler (6-5, 190)
STAY: Like McCallum, this highly recruited talent decided to play for dad. The Chips are going to need to work hard to make the Tourny and I think Trey is a 3 year guy in MP.

97. PG Abdul Gaddy (6-3, 190)
STAY: A tremendous disappointment a year ago, Gaddy really needs to show his worth this season. His value is in as a lockdown multi-positional defender against smaller 1s and bigger 2s. Needs 2 more seasons.

98. PF Kenneth Faried (6-8, 245)
ENTER: A Senior that tested the waters last year and may have been drafted. A very good defensive player that has a nice the ball is mine state of mind. A likely camp pick up and signee.

99. SF Robbie Hummel (6-8, 226)
ENTER: A Senior that has 0 chance of making the league. He just doens't have the foot speed to guard NBA athletes. Likely a top business man in the midwest for 40-50 years.

100. PG Chris Wright (6-1, 208)
ENTER: Like Freeman, this Senior was always going to be a better college player than a pro prospect. Good luck to him finding work overseas.

101. F Jon Leuer (6-10, 230)
ENTER: A Senior that coach Ryan really maxed out on. He has a great midrange game and a good handle for being a legit 4 man. Won't be able to defend in the pros, could play overseas as a shooting 4man but isn't as good as in place talent so this is the end of the road.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
102. SG KT Harrell (6-5, 200)
STAY: A nice scoring freshman for Virginia aside, he has a few years to show what he can do before he is ready. A good looking player to keep an eye on though.

103. PF Tracy Smith (6-8, 247)
ENTER: A Senior that is a hard worker and has improved every year in school. Still undersized though and without the athletic mode the current league needs. Should be a good euro league player.

104. SG Tyler Lamb (6-4, 205)
STAY: May be out after his Sophmore year as Howland loves him already. Looks to be that firey competitor that UCLA has missed since Collison left. One to keep tabs on.

105. C Ralph Sampson (6-11, 241)
STAY: Will never be a pro center as he isn't that athletic and a little slow footed. His size gets him buckets in the college game though and that is the story here.

106. SG Durrell Summers (6-4, 205)
ENTER: A Senior that actually has a super slim chance of being drafted as he is a streaky shooter with good athletic ability and a supreme resume. If not invited to an NBA camp, could have a nice pro career overseas.

107. SG E'Twaun Moore (6-4, 190)
ENTER: The last Senior of the big 3 at Purdue on the list despite being the best scorer. Has the craft down in terms of shot making and is very creative and sneaky on the court. He just doesn't have the height or build to be a pro 2 guard.

108. PF Allan Chaney (6-9, 235)
STAY: Just transfered from Florida and should be a nice college center for seasons to come despite not being that much of a pro prospect.

109. PF Mike Scott (6-8, 240)
ENTER: A Senior that I feel is a little bit of a pre-madonna and has been inconsistent with his decision making. A talented scoring brut that could be a nice player in Spain for sure.

110. PF Adrien Payne (6-10, 215)
STAY: Buried on the bench should be more of a focus as a Sophmore and especially as a Junior. Needs weight and practice time against Nix and Sherman.

111. SG Anatoly Bose (6-6, 200)
ENTER: A Senior sharpshooter at a very small school. It would be great if he made the tourny so that people could get to know him. May lead the country in scoring this year but more than likely an amazing euro league career awaits.

112. SG Michael Snaer (6-5, 200)
STAY: A disappointment as a freshman after a ton of hype, he needs to work on his shot and dribble drive. Focusing in on an all around game will really help him.

113. F Jeff Allen (6-7, 230)
ENTER: A Senior that is a hard worker and ultimate college glue guy. Undersized and out-talented by a mile in the NBA but a great addition to any college team. Pro career unlikely.

114. SF John Shurna (6-8, 215)
STAY: Smart kids stay in school as he will. The cats have a shot at the tourny this year and he just needs to duplicate last season to have that chance at it.

115. PG Devoe Joseph (6-3, 179)
STAY: Will be much improved this season but needs to ride out his years in order to prove if he can be a point guard and not just a very good combo.

116. PF Chris Wright (6-8, 226)
ENTER: A Senior that is just too undersized in a non-big6 conference to make the league despite being a good player. Flyers in the Italian league seem up his alley.

117. PG Michael Thompson (5-10, 190)
ENTER: A Senior that stayed home to try and help his team improve and he did. He could have played anywhere he wanted and that says alot about him. An overseas career awaits him if he wants it.

118. SF Draymond Green (6-6, 235)
STAY: A bull of a forward that really improved his entire game as a sophmore. Will be a nice college combo 3/4 but that will be his ceiling.

2. PF Keith Benson (SR - Oakland)

That's awesome man. I think college basketball is probably my favorite sport as well. I love how most teams actually run an offense unlike the NBA where there is so much isolation. Not only that, but I enjoy gambling on sports and college basketball is easily the most fruitful sport to bet on (if you know what to look for).

Thanks for your time and insight.

Sorry for the spacing but the edits won't let me lock on to specific areas and delete out space / edit color etc... I believe it is because of the max characters but I'm not sure.

On the mock draft; I know I'm going to get some junk about Corey Joseph... But he is in my view the no doubt #1 point guard in terms of an NBA prospect. He is the best shooter and already has NBA range with ease. He is by far the best defender as well and can be a lock down point guard if he wants to be. He has the height and atheltic ability to keep up with anyone too. My questions with him will be decision making and foot speed on quick guards. If he can handle those 2 things nicely then he is worth a top 5 pick. Thompson is also real good and has a similar game to Aldridge when he was at Texas. Same size too and I like him in that NBA ceiling 16-18 / 7-9 range.

Thabo Taylor is also really interesting. I see him alot in that 14-20 range on sites. This kid is special. Was kind of a point power forward in high school and is real comfortable all over the floor. Is a special defensive player and very rare athlete even for the league. Dunks are insanely effortless and the Swede has only just touched the surface of what he can do.

Fantastic stuff man. I couldn't be a true Oklahoma State fan/student if I didn't say your OSU prediction is way inaccurate. I'd put a lot of money on them being drastically better than that.

Once again, really great effort. Very impressive.

JaJuan Johnson has shown and will continue to show me enough improvement to consider him very strongly with the Bulls' first-rounder. I expect PU to do well this year; NU is underrated yet and putting it together and I expect them to be top six (okay six) in the Big Ten conference.

You're right, the Illini are deep this season and should have a great chance at being a top 10 team. I'm pretty excited for their season. I would consider Jereme Richmond a higher NBA Draft Prospect than you have him on the list but you're list is pretty solid.

Oklahoma State is not good. They may be better than what I predicted but to think that their ceiling is anything more than a .500 team is just a pipe dream in my eyes. An NIT invite would be a hugely successful season to me.

3J (Purdue grad here btw) is a very nice player but the fact that he does not dominate the boards in this league and that he has always failed to put on lower strength and weight concerns me and it will concern other scouts too. I think he gets a hard 2nd round look and gets a late flyer but if anyone thinks he is anything more than a backup prospect... Well then they are not seeing what I am seeing. Talented guy for his size, needs to be more angry. And eat more.

Good job on that mega post. Don't know if your a gamer but if you have 2k11, I think you'd be the man to make a draft class for this year. Anyway thanks for sharing.

I've got to say that your non-big 6 conference predictions aren't very good. You really think only 1 non-BCS team will get a top 7 seed? That's crazy talk. You really think teams like Temple and Xavier won't make the tourney?

Neither Henson or Bullock are NBA Prospects? Zeller may also be pro material depending on the type of year he has.

I orginally had Temple in so I understand that. When I went through the seeding and saw I had to cut 3 teams in due to a-bids they were one of them. Xavier will be good but not as good as last season. As far as the poster saying that overall my predictions arent real good well the truth is that you don't know anymore than I know right now but the difference "may" be that I have done an insane amount of homework on this AND I do NOT predict what I think the tourny group will do but rather what I would do. To sum that up; you are wrong by saying i dont know what I'm doing ;). Teams like Memphis etc... most likely will have a high 3-5 seed and that is all well and good but in my view of teams they are in that 20-25 range if I had to predict how good I think they will be by seasons end.

Please list your opinion of every D1 team in a compare and contrast debate listing positives of non big 6 teams against their competitors for seeding and we shall debate. Mine is stated in the orginal 9,000 character post.

bullock to be honest I know a little about; decent size with good frame of strength / has a nice stroke from distance and could potentially be a nice defender at a pro league stature

Henson I do not like. IF he comes in bulked up then heck ya I'm all for it but my gut tells me he would be a bust at the pro level. Zeller has nice size and a good amount of floor skill but he has to be out there playing big mins. I have a high standard for the pros. You have to dominate the prior to enter the association people. 9/5 etc... isn't dominating. I HATED that orlando gave orton a 1st round contract with 3/2 and crappy maturity.

This is UNC we're talking about, dominance is rare due to the depth of their roster. Example Mr. Michael Jordan, you may have heard of him.

I think Henson may also be a bust BUT only if he doesn't put on weight. I've seen that kid do some pretty awesome things with all that length. On potential alone he's NBA bound like it or not and not late 1st round like Orton either.

Bullock is going to be monster and will be a lottery pick whenever he decides to come out.

Zeller is going to get all the minutes he can handle with the Wear twins leaving, Davis leaving and Graves getting kicked off the team. I think even if he has a great year he may stay if his brother signs with Carolina.

g-d i hope cody goes crean and crimson

"will be a lottery pick"

we dont know that at all, the hype monster tells little until seen

in terms of depth etc and therefore numbers down, sure yes but i dont know there is dominating while you are out there and then there is dominating the numbers ala blake, melo, beastly, durant in recent years and then there is dominating for the time you are in there like a z randolph his freshman year that he didnt show anything more than ok in numbers but when he was in the skill was insane "man v boy" type of thing

that is more of what i am saying

henson in high school was just too long and agile for other bigs and he has to put on weight to that frame

tz runs that floor very well for a true center

Brandon Knight will put up more than 13 pts, he's got a sick jumper, NBA body, and is 6'4.. He'll probably be around 16ppg..

Kyrie Irving is a one and done player, there's no way he's staying another year to be with Austin Rivers, he's going to prove he's the best PG in the country, love his game.. I expect him to be a top 3 selection.

i dont know about irving.... just my gut tells me he is there for 2

rivers can be the sixth man and start irving and curry anyways

k recruits guys that stay 2,3,4 years as he had a real fit about it 5-7 years ago

on knight.... i think he will be a solid pro in that he could start for half the league and be a super backup pg on the good half kinda like a felton and his career (nice player, but i dont know if he has rings in his future ya know)

joseph to me is the best of the pgs in this class (selby, irving, knight, joseph) because he has the best all around game and to me is the best shooter although selby and knight can shoot too.

NBA Preview:

The numbers are done by my evaluation of 10 different important traits and instead of going through them and making the post twice as long I will leave them out. I have based the starting lineups on who it looks like will start based on the coaches and the preseason.

MVP: Durant or Roy
COY: Pop
ROY: Griff
6th: Kleiza, Jamison, Gordon, Hansbrough, who cares
DPOY: Lebron (going to be more rebounds and steals than normal)
MIP: Speights (could be a 14/8 elton who? year)
