Yeah the people calling him "(Please Use More Appropriate Word) baby" was really not cool, neither was the comment about racism in Boston.

The Pistons are a good team..but when you lose to a one man show in the Lebron James circus, you become a model for choking. Even their ONLY title this group has won, they only won because the Lakers imploded, with Kobe and Shaq butting heads. They have won SQUAT since... And those fans think they are entitled to a Finals birth because of one title.

QFT, losing to the Cavs last year was a disgrace.

So the Pistons board says Big Ballsy is a (Please Use More Appropriate Word), or our city is racist?

Who. the. ****. cares.

It's their board, on the night of a game. Just leave 'em be.
Let them soak in their own jealousy and say whatever they want.

We won they didnt, let them say whatever they want. Plus like Tommy said during the game I think there team has almost peaked and will get worse before they get better, on the otherhand I still think we can get better.

Yes they were in poor taste, but they aren't indicative of the posts you usually see on the Pistons board. I'm sure you've got your own group of moronic trash-talkers who you don't want to be associated with.

Anyway, as I said after the last game, it's going to be an incredible ECF. I look forward to every Celtics game we have this year because you've got the two best teams in the league fighting it out. It's great to see basketball played like it matters in early January.
At the end of the day, it's not about wins and losses. Teamwork, fair play, and good sportsmanship make champions of us all.

Go arbitrary assortment of athletes! Beat the other arbitrary assortment of athletes or my mood will suffer!

Well...as I said earlier, the best team is still the Spurs... but yes, the ECF will be a dogfight...

Why in the hell would ESPN post this, when knowing the team the last two games is 100% different than last year. What a bunch of friggin morons.

Detroit Pistons
Boston won Saturday's much-anticipated game against Detroit 92-85, snapping the Pistons' 11-game win streak. Despite the loss, the Pistons have clearly had the edge of late against the Celtics. Here's a look at the last eight games between the teams:

Detroit Boston

Wins 7 1
PPG 98.1 90.8
FG pct 45.5 46.0
3-pt FG pct 35.2 31.3

To be fair everyone, in every sport, thinks ESPN hates their team. In fact, a lot of people accuse ESPN having a Boston bias...

I'm not liking the smack you're talking here and in previous posts, sprash, but it's your board after all.

Unfortunately and fortunately, you're right about Chauncey, though. His ego is enormous enough to brush off defeat as if it means nothing. This is a plus (he's never going to lose confidence, ever) and a minus (I'm not sure he's capable of admitting true defeat and adjusting). It does get old -- he's still coasting a bit on his '04 finals performance and it's really getting pathetic.

man, I am not talking smack...If anything, we heard ALL the mocking and smack talk the last two years...and the Celtics were pissed at how the Pistons used to LAUGH at them DURING the games last year...As I said, Billups has ONE ring... And he talks as if he has one on each finger... Maybe he should attend the Belichicks' humble-pie-eating school....

I kinda doubt it was "the Pistons" laughing, but I bet Rasheed did. That's just him. Teammates love him, opponents, not so much.

Eh, all good from my end. Good win for the C's.
