OT: The Knicks spanking the Pistons badly

Post#1 » by SuperDeluxe » Mon Jan 14, 2008 1:45 am

With 54 seconds to go in the 3rd., the Knicks are ahead 68-42. Detroit is shooting 27.6% from the field.

Bizarro world, I tell you.

Amazing. The Pistons have attempted more shots from the field and they're losing by 26.

I think they need a ballhandling PG and a scoring C. And a new coach, of course, Saunders is a moron.

I'm glad the Pistons can't get players like Nazr Mohammad.

Ouch. They play their best game of the year on TNT Thursday night against the world champion Spurs and win, barely beat the Bobcats in OT and get spanked by the lowly Knicks. Haha.

Right now, losing to the Knicks is worse than anything.

At this point I'd rather lose to the Wolves, Heat, and Sonics back-to-back-to-back than lose to the Knicks once.

Billups has been to New York before, he has lost to New York before, he has done it all before, so he isn't worried about losing to the 2nd worst team in the league, it was just another game and another loss to them

It gets better: Pistons just miss lowest point total in team history.

"I just got off the shower, washed it off," Billups said. "I washed it right off on that shower. Got to forget about that one. That was bad."

P.S. I came here in peace to post on your board. No need to turn it into a war with a comment like that.

Coming from Knicks fan, that sounds hillarious.
You're not a frontrunners though, I can give you that.
Nothing 'front" about the Knicks.

i think what that guy mean about losing to the knicks is worse than losing to the sonics, wolves etc, is because the knicks don't try together as a team. as a unit. you can tell players, or some players don't get along and don't care to pass the ball to one another.

the other teams, are young, and frankly compete every game, even in blowouts. i've watched some knick gamse, and each game i'm sad for their fans. they flat out don't compete for a team loaded with talent.

i think you can see it as a knick fan. but if there attitude changed, i wouldn't be so mad if my favourite team lost to them. the kings for example, are so depleted with injuries, have a horrible record, and still find a way to compete.

for their sake, i hope they win high in the lottery, but more so, i hope this win helps them with their confidence in each other to play team basketball every game.

And what a peaceful comment you made! Were you the one who handed George Bush the wrong dictionary when he asked for the definition of "peace"?
