OT? Who is the sports guy talking about?

Post#1 » by GWVan » Mon Jan 21, 2008 1:54 pm

I'd pit Ricky Williams against a certain much-travelled NBA player who I'm not allowed to mention since he has never been suspended for marijuana use -- even though he's famous for turning at least two of his new teammates into the collective Chong to his Cheech every time he switches teams -- with the the winner receiving a lifetime's supply of medical marijuana. Ricky and Famous Potsmoker X would fight to the death. There's no question. It would be like the last 20 minutes of "Bloodsport."

google "damon stoudamire marijuana"

you get 46 pages

Do we really want this guy around?

.......or is he talking about someone else?
Full of sound and fury; signifying nothing

Stoudamire was arrested for what he did, so he is well known for his marijuana problem. The guy Simmons talks about seems to be someone who is perceived in public as a "good clean guy".

So, no, I don`t think it is Stoudamire...

Considering Simmons' Modus Operandi, I would guess Ricky Buckets.

I was a big of a pot smoker if there ever was back in the day. but there is something wrong with it, its not exactly a good motivational tool.

nothing is good about smoking pot. sure its fun once in a while (if you choose to if in a moment) but chronic use is not a good thing.

I think hes talking about Damon Stoudamire. Supposedly Stoudamire got the whole Jailblazers squad high all the time. I think thats some BS though, its not like guys like Darius Miles, Qyntel Woods, and Zach Randolph never puffed themselves some weed before they met Stoudamire.

It doesn't bother me as far as Stoudamire joining the C's, its not like Stoudamire is all of a sudden gonna get Ray Allen taking bong hits with him.

 I'm tired of people overreacting whenever somebody is caught with weed. If they get caught with something that can actually ruin your life (heroin, coke, meth, etc) then there's a red flag.

Has to be a Celtics and every indication is that it's Ricky. The "every time he switches teams" thing also makes sense, b/c Ricky has been in Boston, Minny and Miami in the last 3 years. Between Blount, White Chocolate, Olowokandi, Scal, TA, Troy Hudson, Eddie Griffin (RIP), Smush, etc. there are plenty of guys Ricky could have been smoking with...

Ricky D. was my first thought. That would explain why Kedrick Brown, and Diop put on 50 lbs each while Ricky D was there!!!

I believe Damon Stoudamire was suspended for pot so it can't be him.

IF Ricky had anything to do with the story he'd be caught by now. He's exactly the type of person that everyone stereotypes and pulls over to let him know about the "speed limit".

They said this person hasn't been caught by anyone, I bet it's someone fat like Scalabrine.

And pot is an addictive drug that can be gateway one to harder stuff!

Without a doubt it is Ricky Davis.

So there's this hoe at my school who claims to have **** ricky davis and possibly Udonis Haslem about a week ago when the Heat were visiting Portland. I'm suspicious but what you think about these pictures she put on her facebook? btw she's only 17...

That's funny; when I was watching the NY game earlier a friend of mine saw Renaldo Balkman and started going on about what a big stoner he looked like...then, after a while, we switched to other players that looked a bit high and Ricky's name came up first. Heh.

Yeah, it wouldn't surprise me. Then again, it wouldn't surprise me if it were Blunt.
