NBA refs & San Antonio

Post#1 » by sweetlou23 » Fri Jan 25, 2008 3:43 am

Why is it that San Antonio is allowed to foul other teams with impunity during crunch time but other teams are not allowed to foul San Antonio? Its pathetic. Dwayne Wade just got raped driving to the hoop and the refs just watched. really takes away from the game.

Because the NBA no longer loves DWade.

JK.

But I agree. The Spurs and Celtics get a lot of respect from the refs for some reason. They are also top defensive teams so maybe they have the reputation?

You can't base it on one game. I don't really think San Antonio gets away with more than other teams. The refs are just pretty inconsistent overall.

As a Dallas fan that last no call was painful though.

If one thing is true, it's that all NBA referees hate Wade

Wade deserves negative respect from the officials after all the respect he got in the Finals.

That wasn't even close to being a foul. Bowen might have gotten him across the arm, but only after he got a big handful of basketball and Wade had lost his balance. That was outstanding defense by an all-league defender.

Suck it up and quit crying.

its not d-wade fault hes that good and he aggressively attack the basket
every time he gets ball. for god sake d-wade has less 3 points attempts than brad miller, because he always drive to the basket.

if you People seriously believe there is NBA conspiracy, than whats the point of watching the games?

That was a stupid move on Wade's part. He attacked the basket and jumped with the intention of drawing the foul. If he scored then all the better. I'm happy the refs didn't reward him for playing for the foul rather than trying to score.

Oh give me a break...oh and i should put this in bold like you?

You seriously believe that Wade doesn't get favourable calls? Youre delusional if you seriously think that..

I cheer EVERYTIME i see a call missed on Wade, or where he attempts to get a call and doesnt...I love it
