Why for Memphis?
Memphis picks up Cleveland's only two expiring contracts to get ready for the Free Agents in the off season and they also get Sasha Pavlovic a reasonable tall off guard with upside for Miller.
Pretty much Cardinel is a trade straight up for Marshall who has one year less on his contract. Memphis pinches dollars
Why for Cleveland. Lebron needs a shooter to spread the floor. Miller is that shooter.
Cardinel is another health big who is a stiff but can play the second string at the 4 in case Varajeo's ankle does not heal quickly.
