BRING BACK JACK (Armstrong) in 08/09 Campaign!

[Lockdown]

Hey guys - as you know there will be no games on Sportsnet next year, and as a result Jack will not be calling games next season. I think as a group of basketball fans we should make a concentrated effort on getting it out there that as basketball fans we want Jack Armstrong to be a part of the broadcasts.

Right now Jack has nothing for next year, and I think all of you guys agree it would be a huge loss if he wasn't a part of the Raptor-watching experience.

Let's get this ball rolling ! The power of the Raptor Fan Email Army has the abilty to get something done, I'm sure. I'll update this post with links and ideas as people submit them.

Everyone who wants to help should sign up. This petition will be sent to the Raptors organization, showing how much we support Jack.

What's the plan?

Start an email campaign.

Then click on the Raptors NBA TV (the 3rd mail icon).

Tell them that you want more of Jack next year. Tell them that you want Jack to do all the CBC and The Score games next year.

Tell them what you want.

They will not do anything about it unless you tell them.

Yes, he'll get some action via Raptors TV, I'm sure. But I'm all for it, count me in for whatever you plan on doing. Jack is good at what he does and deserves more air time.

Man, +1 for sure. A majority of a season of just Chuck and Leo...count me out. By the seasons end they might try to kill each other or we could go through a whole broadcast with silence after an awkward moment. Let us all know what you have planned...

I'd love for them to bring Jack back. I dont think I can stand a whole season of Chuck and Leo. Plus, I dont have RapsTV. Use Jack for CBC games or something.

He's the best we've got. To lose him would be to lose a candid voice.

I'll never forget his proclamation during the Babcock era when during a Raptors TV spot he came out and said: "This thing is broken".

It was that moment that proved he is a quality analyst and won't just say the things MLE wants him to say.
