OT- Toronto's Defense

Post#1 » by Scalamental » Sun Apr 20, 2008 5:00 pm

Is there a team that plays worse D than they do (that are in the playoffs)? The magic are tooling on them. I can't see the 76er's D being much worse.

LMAO 43 points in the first quarter! Man and to think all the crap they talked in the offseason. I love every bit of their misery!

104 pages on the Toronto forum game 1 thread right now, and it's only half time. Jeez, I can't stand Raptors fans, but you have to respect their fanhood. They have some serious diehards up north.

Every game thread I look at now models westthebests. We can now call him a pioneer!

Anyway, yeah, their defense sucks for a playoff team.

I don't respect them one bit, and besides, they have all of Canada rooting for them, that's why they have so many "fans". None of them are really mature or knowledgeable at ALL, and anyone can post on messageboards bragging about how deep their team is, and make up excuse after excuse when they lose or end up at 41-41 for the season (when predicting Atlantic Division Champions).

All in all, I can't wait for the Raps to be eliminated, so the majority of trash talking worldwide can cease for another couple of months.

Not true. I am in Canada, not a Raptors fan, and I know more non-Raptors fans than Raptors fans. Everybody seems to know their basketball around here.

From what I've seen in the 1st half the refs have let Howard camp out in the paint all the time down both off and def. It's lights out for Tor. if this keeps up. They have gotta move him out or start bitching to the refs to get that load out of the paint cause he's camped out in both directions. 8)

They backed into the playoffs and are going to get swept. They have no inside presence, toughness, or defense.

As for why there are so many Raps fans, look at the other Toronto sports teams right now. Raps are their only hope.

Denver's gotta be up there (either #1 or #1A), which really tells you a lot about Melo and AI's attitudes towards it when Marcus Camby's in your starting lineup.

You know, I totally forgot about Denver. I think Denver might actually have the edge on Toronto. Either way, Toronto blows.

The thread title is an oxymoron.

The nuggets defense is pretty bad too, but the nuggets have a better offense.

I don't think Toronto the city has any issues. We just have the bad luck to draw a bunch of juvenile can't afford the tickets bunch of fan boys, IMHO. It's more of quirk then representative of their fan base.
