they're chanting overrated. fans in atlanta should take note, that's how you attend a basketball game and cheer for your team. thats why boston is named the best sports town every year.

judging from the past couple games, and many hawks fans criticisms, their chants weren't off base .

What Hawks fans criticisms? No one has anything but good thing to say about your team.

Here's what's ironic about Bibby calling out the fans for their alleged lack of support for the Celts:

Bibby is currently a member of the ATLANTA HAWKS.

Even if he'd been right in his criticism, which he wasn't, he still would have been wrong.

It's not really debatable, obscure/oblivious hawk fan. The "Best Sports Town" title is given out by The Sporting News every year.

The Bean's won something like 3 of the last 5 years.

Good luck on locking up that title at any point.. by any media source... ever.

Last night they were chanting

Biiiiiiibbbbbbbbbbbbbyyyyyyyy...Biiiiiiibbbbbbbbbyyyyyyyyyy

then when he was on the bench

Where is Bibby

and as previously said Rondos better

While I agree with Bibby I believe he is an idiot for opening his mouth but am happy he did for the great chants from last night lol

Check out this quote from ESPN.com after last night's game regarding Bibby's smack-talking:

When Allen and Kevin Garnett were asked post-game if they ever had said something to rile up an opposing crowd before, Garnett said: "Neither one of us has said anything (Please Use More Appropriate Word) ... Have I ever said anything (Please Use More Appropriate Word)? It's hard enough playing on the road versus causing attention to yourself. I can't recall. No, neither one of us had said anything crazy like that."

Its easy to be a good fan and sportstown when you are spoiled by good teams. You have the Patriots and the Red Sox to look foward to in addition to the Celtics. And now the Bruins. Plese...name any other sports town with as many consistent winners as you.

Umm, people in New England have been rabidly passionate about these teams during ALL of the lean periods. I myself have been a diehard since the mid-1980s, which was when the Celtics were contending, the Patriots sucked (but made that improbable Super Bowl run in 1986), the Red Sox sucked (but made the World Series in 1986), and the Bruins were losing to the Oilers in the Stanley Cup. I followed all of these teams through all of the bad years and heartbreaking losses...

I guarantee the REAL sports fans in Boston are like this, which is why this is one of the best sports cities in the country

I missed this the first time, but these have only been consistent the last 5-6 years or so. For years the only consistent winners were the Celtics (up until the early 1990s), and then none until the Sox and Pats became consistent winner from 2001 onward.

So again, bad logic and flawed argument.
It's still 17 to 11!!!!
