Dang...The Hawks should be congratulated on making it this far, but this game is just embarassing. 45 points at the start of the 4th Q? Wow.
We have met the enemy, and he is us.

Ray Allen couldn't guard Joe Johnson. We couldn't put Posey in because we needed Ray for offense. We couldn't switch Pierce onto Joe because then Ray would have to guard another mismatch. Pierce will not stop LeBron but he will be do a damn good job(hopefully). Everyone else just needs to stay a little bit in front of their man. The Cavs shooter need a lot of room to be effective. On the flip side who's gonna guard KG? Ray?Even Rondo is gonna have an advantage IMO.
My Starting 5:

PG: Allen Iverson
SG: Paul Pierce
SF: Kevin Durant
PF: Kevin Garnett
C: Patrick Ewing

Whats KG going to do, score 25 points on jumpshots? He's not a mismatch on offense.

Missed the whole game, and happy to see the score at the beginning of the game.

Thank God for Defense, and the home-court advantage.

Again, you can't compare this series to the next. The Cavs are a much different team.

That's just an ignorant statement. If you think KG isn't a mismatch on offense you know nothing about basketball.

Joe Johnson had 1 stellar game (game 3) and in games 4 and 6 he hit some clutch shots. Don't act like he dominated.

Cleveland is an easier matchup for Boston than Atlanta. Boston wins in 6.

I just wondering, If Joe Johnson, and just enough help can take the Celts to 7. What will Lebron James do.

True....but K.G. isnt' going to drop 30 a game...nor is Rondo :D They'll throw Big Z, Big Ben & Side Show BoB at K.G. Lebron will match up with Pierce. . ..Ray (could) have a big series because they dont have anyone that can truly guard him. But ive noticed the Celts struggle with dribble penetration...and Lebron excells at that

Like I said to start this series. Atlanta athleticism would cause the Celtics problems. Its the Celtics biggest weakness. Really no other team in the playoffs has the athletes that the Hawks have. The Celtics kill more conventional ball clubs.

Joe Johnson only had one great game but other then that he only good to to decent games.

The thing with Cleveland is not stoping Lebron because he will get his points. The goal for boston is to stop everybody else, lebron by himself will not beat boston.

Personally I think KG is an advantage against all of Cleveland's big men. I don't view LeBron as a great defender. I still think Pierce can get his. Rondo however can definitely raise his level of play. No one is quick enough to keep up with him. Cleveland also doesn't have great athletic shot blockers like Atlanta so Rondo can use his speed to full advantage.

I completely forgot about Larry Bird. I'd take Bird over Garnett. It would actually be a hard choice to pick Bird or Malone. Duncan is so solid defensively that you can't really pick anyone but him for number 1.

Well actually I was talking about PF's. Bird is a SF. IF he was a PF he'd be #1 by far.
