Analysts picks...

Mike Wilbon picked DET in 6
Mike (small Mike from Mike and Mike in Morning) picked DET in 6
Mike (big Mike from "") picked BOS in 7.

You guys know of any others? I'm curious as to hear which 'experts' picked correctly.

Thanks.

Love, pb.

Glad you saved that image.

Those so-called "experts" who picked the Pistons can go suck a nut.

Wow, they suck. Stein was the only one right. These are not so bad. It was after the smoke of the KG trade had settled, and some experts starting to make their picks. And they had us like 3rd in the east. Or even as low as 4th. Oh man some people on the general board were so off it is hilarious.

Bob Ryan picked us not to make the playoffs, well not really I think in his official picks he had us in, but I remember him saying after we got KG that the Celtics were now a borderline playoff team

Seriously. I expected 5 games or 7 games, really didn't think we'd be able to close out the series in Detroit. Good call on his part.

Keep on counting us out.
I'm sure it relieves some pressure.
Not like Doc has any as it is.

Yeah but in the beginning...Rick Bucher picked us 5th in the East...and like 3rd in the Atlantic---didn't we win the Atlantic by 28 games?

He also said Kobe would NEVER wear a Laker uniform again...haha-idiot!

I refuse to give Stein any props. He downplayed the C's accomplishments all year. Also, if you look back to the C's-Cavs page, he took the Cavs. I guess the self-proclaimed "committee of one" can keep flip flopping until it's right

During one of TNT's more recent telecasts, I heard Barkley mention that Kenny Smith -- off the air -- predicted the Pistons would win in 5. He tried to get him to repeat it on-air but they were going to commercials.

Barkley's gone out of his way to show his support of the Pistons as the "Best of the East" and picked them to win this series, too; but he's not really an analyst since he doesn't do jack in terms of game preperation, player knowledge, or much of anything. The guy probably has the most disproportionate work:salary ratio of anyone alive.

hi there celtics fan, im a die hard lake show fan and i dont like these so called ''experts'' just handing us the trophy, that could work against us. we do have the better team in my opinion and this postseason we have proved that but we gotta be careful, your big 3 is hungry for a title.

of course you think you have the best team, you are a lakers fan. just like I think our team is the best team. although we have a far better defense than your team does.

defense wins champs. so I dont get the huge favorism to the lakers in this series. the matchups are good and favor the celtics IMO. but hey, I am a celtics fan so of course I think that.

So you are wishing us luck next year when we will be going for 2 in a row? Do you not think your team will make it next year? Otherwise why not wish us luck this year?

Rondo>Fisher
Allen<<Kobe
Pierce>>Vlad
Garnett>>Odom
Perk<<Gasol

It's going to be a great series but ref's permitting our defense is superior!

(P.S. I did understand your post.)
