It's time for Phil to mix things up and Kobe needs to take control of his game. While Boston is still doing a nice job defending Kobe, I just feel Kobe needs to relax, and allow his game to speak for it's self. He doesn't look comfortable as he's allowing the Boston defenders to get under his skin.

If the Lakers want the same benefit as the Celtics defensively they should've thought about playing some defense before this series started. Everybody knows how the NBA is today, that's why the Pistons have always been able to get away with fouling: REPUTATION.

Celtics have a reputation has the best defensive team in the league. If you all of the sudden try to play tough D like we do in the Finals you aren't going to get the benefit of the doubt. Simple as that.

Lol lakers were playing defense. Try playing one with foul trouble while their calling everything against you and nothing on other end.

19-2 FT

I am sorry, but that discrepancy is out of control.

Anybody's D is good when u dont get called for fouls.

And Pierce's fuc*** knee is fine.

The Lakers have shot 8 more shots, out rebounded the Celtics and FTA is 19-2 to the Celtics. You can't tell me that kind of discrepancy is normal.

you'd guess the refs would want to make the fact that they are being payed off, less obvious. i guessed wrong

small little touches by lakers get called as fouls...

a slap to the arm on gasol (blatant on slow mo), grabbing the arm and the ball out of gasol (he had the ball wrapped) not called... same little touches not called...

make it more obvious stern... you've official ruined the game
Sasha Vujacic = The Phail Machine = The Ring Blocker

Trade Sasha before he ruins the Lakers next season.

I've been watching hoop for 20 years, and that was one of the most one sided games I have ever seen officiated. The game looked scripted in terms of calls and what constitutes a foul not being even on both ends. It was clear as day. The refs should be embarrassed in such a huge game.

It isn't over yet. No need to whine about fouls until after the game is over.

I wonder if rating will drop because of the way the game is being called.

This season played out like most of the 90s did, the West had more depth and higher scoring teams but the East had the greater team and the better defensive teams (Celtics, Pistons, much like the 90s had Knicks and Bulls).

Theres EVERY reason to be pissed. Even if the Lakers win this is atrocious. The lakers should have to be twice as good as the Celtics to have a chance. Home court should be enough.
