OT: RIP Helen Heinsohn

Post#1 » by sprash9802 » Mon Nov 24, 2008 9:03 pm

Tommy's wife, Helen Heinsohn, has lost her battle with cancer. Condolences from all Celtics fans to Tommy and his family. May God give him the strength to overcome this tragedy. The redhead from Needham will always be remebered....

Horrible, horrible news. I hope Tommy comes to this board and see how much we all love him and prayed for his wife. She'll be missed by all of Celtic nation.

No...

I hope Tommy gets through this alright, it's a lot of stress for someone his age.

RIP.

Wasn't she the "Redhead from Needham?"

I always that was such a cool way for him to acknowledge her on-air during games.

My thoughts are with Tommy and his family.

[Edit - sorry just realized this was stated in the original post] RIP to the Redhead from Needham!

This is very sad news for all of us.....

We share in Tommy's loss.......She will always be remembered by longtime Celtic fans as Tommy's most beloved "redhead"...

Her battle with cancer is now finally over....

May she rest in peace....... :(

I'm sure Tommy is NOT alright, atleast not right now.

Not sure what to say other then, death is part of life and hopefully Tommy will be back as himself when he finishes grieving.

Rest In Peace, The Redhead From Needham.

Condolences To The Fam

Glen Ordway reported this on the radio when I was driving, I almost stopped the car, I was so saddened to hear this news.

RIP Mrs. Heinsohn.

That's really sad to hear, I always though it was classy of Tommy to acknowledge her as "the redhead form needham," as well, it really has to be hard to bear.
