WT: 3 pg option?

Post#1 » by EasternMagic » Sun Dec 14, 2008 5:20 pm

When GSW get Monta back, they are going to have to either make a trade or drop somebody. In the wiretap, it says that Nellie likes the rookie Kruz so if they do end up waiving somebody who already have guaranteed contracts, it could be DeMarcus Nelson or Marcus Williams. I know Nelson is in the D-league right now. Maybe picking one of these guys of the waivers wouldn't be a bad option for a third PG?

Demarcus Nelson doesn't know a thing about running the point. He played SG and SF at Duke. He can defend the point though.

Darius Washington Jr. is a local kid that could also be useful on the practice squad.

If GS is up for giving up Williams, Otis needs to jump all over that.

If they waived Richard Hendrix...bring him in please.

He's a guy I wanted in the 2nd round, and I'd love for us to be able to get him.

this may be me stretching a pipe dream, but if the W's are serious about a 2 for 1 deal, Williams + Hendrix for JJ works. would be perfect for us, as it fills 2 needs in one go, and gets rid of a player who's not being used.

perhaps we'd have to throw in a 2nd rd pick, but i'd be happy with that.
