Deron Williams hair growing with his game?

Post#1 » by tyguy » Fri Mar 13, 2009 6:03 am

As many of you utah jazz fans have probably noticed. As Deron Williams was growing into a star, his hair was going in the opposite direction. I figured in a couple of years he was going to have to shave the dome.

This season though, it seems like he is sporing a darker, thicker head of hair on top! Do you jazz fans notice this? I'm curious if he has decided to go with some hair treatment, if so props to him! Nothing can be more devastating to a man than losing his hair.

So for all the going bald guys out there who dont think they would like like bruce willis or mj with a shaved head. We now have Deron Williams!

Deron needs to ditch it at the start of playoffs. He can't cover up forever and we should just get used to seeing him bald. shouldn't be that bad.

Deron can't pull off the bald look. Black guys look good close shaven (MJ), white guys look better with the MPB cut close with a sillouette (Big Z), biracial guys like Deron and Jason Kidd have a tougher time with hair loss.

I think he'll eventually have to give up the ghost, or at least do the Big Z look like Delaney just said.

But right now, I think it actually looks pretty cool. Its like having a reverse fade starting from the dome. Very distinguished. :D

He'll be the first nba player allowed to wear a hat, like bald guys at the pool.

I think he would look ok as others mentioned here the "stubble" look on his head. I think he would look quite awkward if his hair was as shiny as a freshly mopped wood floor.

Am I the only one that has noticed his hair seeming darker and thicker though? Someone should ask if he is using rogaine:D

I think Deron would look pretty good bald actually. He's pretty young to be losing hair.

I think he's wearing it a tad longer, which could account for that, but in regards to the loss, it seems to me that it's continuing at the same rate as before.

He still ooks like a badass, though.

There is an obvious bald spot on the top of his head. I think he would look badass anyway he goes.

I would put $100 on the fact that Deron is using rogaine. And why shouldn't he? It worked for the Mailman, until the Mailman lost interest in it....

I wanted to resurrect this old thread as its been about 1 year since it was posted and I was just thinking about Deron's baldness today. The dude was on his way to a chrome dome in 2008. Now, he doesn't seem to have any thin hair or bald spot whatsoever.

Do you think he had a hair transplant? Something else? As I know the sting of male pattern baldness myself, I'd definitely like to know Deron's secret! :D

I'm thinking he uses some kind of Hollywood-grade makeup glue to hold his comb-forward tight against his forehead.

I, for one, don't think it's getting better and there's no question he's going to have to do something else with his hair soon.

Whatever he does everyone will get used to it just like when Karl ditched his massively receding hairline (Rogaine FTL) or Kobe ditched his biggish hair thing.

Less stress always works for me... but I get greys, no baldness whatsoever here. In fact, I have an overabundance. I'd be willing to trade...
