Are you kidding me? Evans has more than proved he was the right selection. Rubio has bust written all over him. Evans can take over a game, Rubio can not. Evans is a physical presence we lack, Rubio is a stick who would get man handled on a nightly basis. Move on, Evans is our guy, and nothing he has done thus far should cause anyone to question that decision.

We all know that Ricky is an awesome playmaker/passer but to be honest none of Ricky highlights in the video are that good.

Evans is our guy. And he is proven that he is going to be one of the best players in the draft. Challenging for the ROY honors with Blake.

I still really like Rubio and still would have drafted Rubio over Evans, that said...

Why are we even bringing up Rubio's name? We picked Evans, Evans is our guy, Rubio can have the best or worst career ever and it wouldn't matter to us one bit. We made a decision now we have to live with it regardless if it was the right or wrong decision. Enough with Rubio talk.

We need our PG/star now. We couldn't have waited two years for Rubio. No matter how much he would have wanted to play here, it was fiscally impossible. We would have waited two years, and I'm sorry, I'd take Evans and his production NOW over anything Rubio could have given us in two years in a heartbeat.

Man who gives a **** about Rubio anymore. To be honest only thing im upset about or regret is trading 2nd to acquire sergio and portlands pick. I would be 100% content if we had drafted Evans, Casspi and Blair moving forward. Instead we got Brockman and sergio, thats the only thing im dwelling on after the draft as a kings fan.

I was never a big Rubio guy, but I have to admit, I liked what I saw from him yesterday. He's a LOT bigger than he used to be. He definitely has some skill. Happy with Evans myself, but I think Rubio has some potential.

Are we STILL debating Rubio?

More to the point, WHY are we still debating him?

The reality is that the earliest that Rubio can be in the NBA is 2 years from now. But there is a chance he can stay in Europe longer.

I think the OP is baiting the Evans' supporters more than anything IMO.

I'm so sick of hearing about this guy. Can we lock this thread please? This has been talked about to the death already.

Rubio will be a very good NBA player. He took his team to the second in the Olympics. But Tyreke Evans took his team to #2 in the NCAA. Both are equally impressive. Evans just provides this team with a dominating physical prescence they have missed since Webber and Artest. Tyreke is the real deal. Tyreke finished #1 in rookies in scoring in the preseason and finish with 5 assists (as many as Billups or DWilliams).

That initial play was awesome, and Rubio is a special talent, that said, Evans is a better overall NBA player than Ricky will be.

I second this.

Evans/Casspri/Blair would have been amazing.

We would have been the best in the draft by far.

Stupid Brockman and Sergio
