home opener - milwaukee bucks

Postby sweetlou23 on Thu Oct 29, 2009 8:03 am

I'm there. Anyone else going to the game? I am ready for a nine game winning streak so that my prediction will still be correct. This should be a win for us. I'm looking forward to seeing brandon jennings. I think he will be a stud. Anyway, we should be able to handle this team easily.

go sixers!!!

You cannot warrant such a statement after we were whopped by the Magic.

I expect a competitive game, which will likely decided in the last minutes of the game. I would not be to worried yet if Brand does not step up yet again. He is still rusty, coming off two huge injuries.

Seriously, I can't stand it when fans say that any philly team is going to handle another team easily like its a foregone conclusion.... as if Philly teams never lose games they are supposed to win...

Well Carlos Delfino is out for this game. And Warrick and Mbah Moute or whatever his name is are both listed as questionable

I said should, not would. I prefer to be optimistic about the sixers. Being a fan would be too unpleasant for me if I had a pessimistic view. The negative energy would impair my ability enjoy the game. I'd rather make positive predictions and be wrong than make negative or realistic ones and be right.

I'm not going to go all crazy setting specific expectations numberwise from what I want to see from Brand tonight.

But he better reach double-digits and shoot 50%+ from the field.

We're not using the PO at all so far in the first quarter! Everyone's just standing around.
