-A-Dolph still hasn't had much of an impact - He's gonna miss some defensive assignments, and he's gonna do lots of pretty things that end in an awkward looking miss... nellie sits him because of this... however, the things he brings to the table are substantially greater than what guys playing more minutes than him bring. I blame Nellie and his coaching staff.
-Maggette still sucks - Yup. always has. Nellie lets him do all the things that ruin a team game. I blame Nellie.
-Defense non-existent - Yup. Nellie has never coached D. I Blame Nellie.
-How did Channing Frye fire 6-7 3-pters? For one, he had a good shooting night. But just as important, Maggette, Randolph, Buike, and sometimes the guards that switched onto him just forgot about him as if they needed to be in help somewhere else. Partly its them for not realizing who they are guarding, and partly its Nellie for not making this a point during a TO. I blame the players and Nellie.
-How did we overlook Amundson? Ehhh.. i didnt think he did that much. Although he did bring hustle. Maggette never raced back on D to guard him, and he outrebounded our smallball lineup... which he should. I blame smallball (nellie), and Maggette. Plus, wouldn't Randolph be the perfect hustle guy to play against him?
-Nash getting 20 assists Nash is a beast. An absolutely amazing PG. Plus we play no defense. I blame Nash and Nellie.

We had 16 TOTAL assists against a piss-poor defensive team...for a coach who "preaches" ball-movement, he sure is talking to a lot of deaf ears

This is all related to the Jack disruption. You can't have a veteran team captain give up on the team in the middle of camp an then expect to get off to a good start. Dre, and Monta are following Jack's lead. They think this place is a zoo and they aren't going to get their heads right until they stop following him. The best solution to that is to get Jack out of here ASAP, even if it means sending him home. This problem actually goes back to the Rowell+Veterans vs. Nellie meeting held at the end of last season that Dre described in his Latvian interview. The vets don't like what Nellie is doing, they didn't like what he was doing last year and they don't like the idea of younger players taking a larger role. Monta and Dre were brought up watching vets do whatever the hell they wanted and taking all the shots. Now they want their turn, and Jack & Maggs behavior reinforces their expectations.

The locker room will remain divided until Jack is gone. Nellie needs to regain control of this team. The only way he can do that is to put Jack in his place and show that the reign of vet terror is over.

I like Monta, but I'm finally starting to accept he'll need to be traded. Monta just doesn't complement Curry well in the backcourt at all.

Jack should have been traded right before the season, but this stupid franchise seems to think they'll get great value in return. We should be taking any Expiring Contract and jumping ship now.

We're stuck with Maggs, but that doesn't mean Nellie has to play him at PF so much. It's just too bad he can't figure that out.
