Preview

After a sluggish finish to last season, the Boston Celtics look refreshed and rejuvenated. That was bad news for the first two opponents to visit TD Garden.

Chris Paul and the New Orleans Hornets look to provide a tougher test at Boston, while the Celtics will try to stay hot when the teams meet Sunday night.

Boston opened the season with an impressive victory at Cleveland and avoided any drama in its subsequent games, winning twice at home by an average of more than 30 points.

The Celtics (3-0) held Charlotte to 59 points at TD Garden on Wednesday, then relied on offense to cruise past Chicago on Friday. Boston's 38-point third quarter was the decisive blow in a 118-90 victory.

Can't say that I'm looking forward to this game. Celts are 3-0, Hornets at 1-1. Hornets still trying to jell as a team with 2 new starters in the lineup and six new players overall.

This game lacked any energy at all. I think it was mainly because there were few runs in the game, the teams were just generally trading baskets in a slow paced fashion. Emeka struggled a little against Perkins, but also had some sucky calls go his way.

I don't have much to say except that Pierce struggling to keep up with Peja for a good amount of the game was pretty funny. Paul didn't seem too happy the whole game either.

Bobby Brown needs to be benched or traded....he's a chucker, sucks on d, and costs us possessions.
And Scott needs to be fired, for some of these lineups he puts in, and stays with.
Why isnt collison or thornton getting a chance to play??
CP3 needs help, alot of help! Nobody is consistent but him!
Peja coming off the bench is also nice.

^I really have no clue, Collison isn't playing either.

David West has been pretty poor the first three games of the season, but going against the Celtics and Spurs front court (well if Bonner isn't guarding you) is not necessarily easy, so I'll cut him some slack.
