I just don't recall to many momments where it's down the stretch and that 17 footer, if it's there, does not go in.

Udizzle FTW.

Udonis! You did it!
For a long time it gave me nightmares, witnessing an injustice like that. It’s a constant reminder of just how unfair this world can be.I can still hear them taunting him, Silly Rabbit tricks are for kids.I mean why couldn’t they just give him some cereal?

This isn't a flukey streak. The guy has been doing it consistently for years.

it always seems like its automatic late in games...im sure if anyone pulls late 4th quarter stats Haslem fg% is off the charts.

LOL.

You're right. That was Haslem's first clutch performance.

Somebody else made those shots in the NBA Finals and hit those buzzer-beaters against Washington and Detroit.

I don't think that was hate but moreso was a scream to allow Beas to develop somewhat. A talent whom is crtical to our future and where we are trying to go.

I don't think anyone hated him, just thought that he was limited in certain aspects. We had to watch our #2 pick that we went through a 15 win season to get on the bench A LOT in his rookie season and it was just hard sometimes.

This bench thing has been great for him so far though, I feel like it's motivation for him to come out and beast every night.

I hope the Heat are able to re-sign Haslem next season. He's a huge asset for a contender, and I think he really wants to finish his career here, being a Florida lifer. If he does re-sign here, he'll pretty much guarantee himself a retired jersey up in the rafters, alongside Wade, Timmy and Zo.

A perspective on something that gets overlooked:

if the Heat hands "immature" Beasley the starting PF job last season over Haslem, we would probably have an unappreciative young PF and an unhappy veteran PF this season. I am glad Beasley's situation was handled the way it was because as you can see so far, he appreciates every minute on the court and is not relying on pure talent alone.
