Who Should it be.....

Postby S.I.C. GM on Mon Nov 02, 2009 3:20 pm

If SANTA is good to me this year, he would get FRANK FIRED before the New Year.

If or When FRANK GETS FIRED, who gets slapped INTERIM:

Barisse
Loyer
Overton
Rogers

Most likely it is Barisse. I wonder if they can pull the Czar from the booth if FRANK gets FIRED early enough.

Let the TANKING begin!!!!!!!

Scary thought that the interim coach might be worse then the Opester.
Remember, Opie has assembled this cast, so they are all probably similar to him.
Regardless I want him out now, so there are no possibilities he gets an extension.

No chance we're to young to purposely tank, Harris might milk these nagging injuries though. I think it's time to can Frank too don't get me wrong but he'll stick it out until the end of the year probably. After looking at that Interm list we probably should keep him.

Anyone know anything about this Messina guy, like what type of coach he is cause he's name keeps popping up. Is he like D'Antoni or like Skiles or somewhere in between? Just curious.

I agree with you guys the list looks terrible but we need a change quick. These guys are going to tune him out soon.

The offense doesnt work. They are not playing defense. Twill should be starting. He isnt a microwave scorer off the bench. He is being used incorrectly. CDR should be coming off the bench instead. Lopez is going to get frustrated because when he fights for possession the guards ask him for a pick. These guys are being jerked around. They look lost. WE NEED TO GET RID OF FRANK NOW!!!!!

If Frank gets fired, whoever has the most experience with coaching at the NBA level or whoever the team seems to connect with the most out of our assistants will coach for the remainder of the year...but we then we will go out and get a high profile coach in the offseason or bring over one of the top coaches in Europe is my opinion.

Id like to bring in a former player. Like Mark Jackson or Patrick Ewing. Look at players like Bird, Avery Johnson, Byron Scott, and of course Mr. Phil Jackson. But on another subject, is it possible that this is the worst team of all time? 7 points in the 3rd quarter? I think philly has the record for worst season ever like 9-73 or something like that. you think we could break that? especially if harris keeps milking this "injury"?

I wouldn't mind someone like Paul Silas. He's been out of the game for a while, but I mean check this out:

Silas was also criticized for infamously calling Carlos Boozer a "****" in an interview, after Boozer had left the Cavaliers for the Utah Jazz.

He seems like that dude.

I would love Silas or someone along those lines.

The only issue with that is I doubt Lebron plays for Silas.

I doubt Lebronze is leaving Cleveland anyway. I say this though, no matter what ride out this year with Frank (is this the final year of his contract? I want to say that it is but I have no idea)...

I'm not super high on Silas. I'm willing to give Mark Jackson his shot. I'm actually thinking about the college ranks even though historically it's hard for a college coach to adjust to the NBA. I'd love a coach with balls and you see that more in college. He'd never do it, but I think Bruce Pearl would be a great coach for these guys.

Eh I'd take just about anyone other than Mark Jackson, work your way up through the ranks, get some coaching experience at some level and then campaign to be a NBA coach... At least that's the way I feel it should work.

I'd take Frank 11 out of 10 times over Jackson, and I'm not even joking around right now.

SWAT has already left the building, so no point in including with development.

The darkest hour is just before the dawn.
Dawn - Mikhail Prokhorov, Brooklyn, 2010 Salary Cap Space, 2 first round picks, one high lottery pick, good young core.
Countdown to dawn - 69 games.
