Was he drafted a few slots too high? Probably. But the kid is definitely a first round talent. He has a good head on his shoulders, a good NBA body, plays within himself, plays with toughness, hits his free throws etc. What's not to like? He won't be the first player in NBA history to fizzle out amidst a burden of heavy expectations early in his career, only to reemerge once he finds the right environment in which to thrive. See Billups, Chauncey as a prime example.
