ATL : November 2nd

Postby paul on Mon Nov 02, 2009 7:26 pm

Maybe I'm a masochist but something made me watch the start of the Bobcats vs Nets matchup. Worst 10 minutes of NBA basketball I've ever seen, honestly. The Cats are simply awful, the Nets almost as bad and there are like 12 people there. The score is currently 8-4 after 8 minutes of play, not kidding.

For all the Nets young talent they are putrid to watch today.

14-10 at the end of the first. Combined 8/42 shooting....

Both teams are going nowhere.

Good thing I started Aaron Brooks tonight instead of Devin Harris. Brooks has been a solid pickup for my fantasy team. An underrated star in the making.
There is no ctrl button on Brandon Jennings computer. Brandon Jennings is always in control.

That should've been a no brainer decision anyways since Harris is out for like a week.

Glad I picked Larry Hughes back up on my team. He got nothing in the preseason and the Knicks' first couple games and I dropped him, but he had a big game in their OT game this past weekend and now is he not only back in the rotation, but he's starting.

I just turned the game on, Lopez looks good, Terrance Williams has 9pts of the bench, and YI just got a offensive foul in transition.

This is how I see it. Jennings is the game changer that makes everyone on the court better ... Even Stevie Wonder can see that ...

Haha, I didn't even realize that. Good decision either way.

I'm desperately trying to steal Brook Lopez away from another user before it's too late. He's going to put up great numbers this year, being the only solid option NJ has.

Lopez looked awful early, couldn't hit the side of a barn. Yi looked OK I thought, Augustin is addicted to having the ball in his hands but does make some things happen, Ray Felton is a bad PG.

Yeah, I'm wary on Felton. An undersized PG without any elite skills. Sounds like a bad recipe. He can score from time to time, but I wouldn't want him as my starting PG

Ugh, Stuart Scott just talked, maybe its time to go back to the NBA.

Is there anything he says that isn't completely random?

I might have to order LP Broadband. The free preview ends tomorrow and I'm going to miss being able to watch the Thunder, Blazers, Jazz, Lakers, Magic, Nuggets whenever I want to. I think a 7-team package would be right for me...I'd only need two more teams (Bucks would be pointless because they're all blacked out, even archived games). But I think I might wait until mid-season, because right now football is on a lot anyways and I think it's cheaper then.
