John Salmons+Tyrus Thomas+Jerome James for West and Peterson
If NO is out of contention by the deadline, do you think that they would consider this? Gives CP3 wing help and a young PF to pair next to Okafor. They get cap relief because all expire this offseason, but they still will be able to remain competitive. Meanwhile, Bulls get an elite PF and a 3 point shooter, although his contract runs a year after 2010.

We will be waving a flag on the rest of the season. Our 3 point shooting and our guard offense is going to go from bad to atrocious, possibly worst in the league.
This guy played 12MPG in NO last year, is 32, injury prone, and you want him to be our starting 2???
We are already witnessing just how great the CP3-West combo is, exhibit a how they got spanked by the KNICKS tonight.

I don't think they'd pass on Tyrus + James for West, to be honest.

if they have a plan to keep chris happy, then they need to execute it ASAP...i currently dont see one (even if they did upgrade their center position)

They would have to be practically eliminated by Trade Deadline - and that is not happening.
NO would probably like Tyrus - but West seems to be a friend of CP & i doubt that they move him.
The trade really helps the Bulls if it is Tyrus & James for West. That should work in Trade Checker.
Mo Pete (according to evidence posted on Toronto Forum in past) has genital herpes. Keep that in mind if you have plans to sex him.
