OFF: AI Already Unhappy in Memphis

Postby Brazilian on Tue Nov 03, 2009 7:16 pm

According to the wiretap AI is already complaining that he came off the bench...I guess Riley was right all along.

AI is a cancer!

AI is still a great player...maybe he shouldve kept it on the low instead of letting it come out, but hes easily a better player than Conley and is outplaying him so i cant blame him.

If we signed him to back up Chalmers it wouldve obviously been a bad move. But as a starter he wouldve helped this team A LOT but its old news anyways.

Dude complained after his first game. Laughing at those who said A.I would be in his best behavior.
Also Wade and A.I as our starters wouldn't mesh.
Rio is a better P.G for the Heat without a doubt. A.I is more talented streak scorer, but that is like saying we rather have Ricky Davis come back and be our starting P.G, instead of Rio.
A lot of basketball is how players mesh.
Just look at Memphis.
They have a lot offensive talent. Mayo, Gay, Randolph, A.I and they are 1 and 4.

Blown way out of proportion...!!! Because he stated that he didn't like sitting on the bench for that long??? Would any of you want to sit on the bench in any sport for any team if you had the talent and desire to Win??? Man, I guarantee you that non of you would be happy with a bench role when you are better than those that are playing in your position...That's the nature of a competitive athlete...The Truth is if we could swap Mario for AI talent wise, but they keep their identities Miami would be elated and Memphis would be highly disappointed...A.I. would of benefited this team tremendously in the playoffs, which is where we anticipate on being in due time...If Wade is out/hurt in which history shows is possible for some stretches at a time who do we count on besides Beasley...Who really has shown the killer instinct to attack the defense and will a win...Mario? Quinn? Arroyo? Heck no...A.I. would have been great...We could have pulled a Haslem with A.I. and he would be cool with being there when it counts I'm sure...Stop Hating just because it's the easiest thing to do...Disrespecting this man calling him Canswer like they disrespect Michael Jackson calling him Jacko...He's a great basketball player, and I'm sure you would love him if he dons the Heat Uniform...Sorry for rambling...Peace!!!

AI didn't know Memphis was rebuilding. The multiple years of lottery and young leadership wasn't a big enough clue.

Rebuilding with the intent to win is what he was considering...Not just for the sake of rebuilding...

This is exactly why I didn't want him before. He'd be a perfect weapon off the bench, but he can't keep his mouth shut, and I would hate to see his effect on the excellent defense the team has played thus far this season.

Just a question, if Allen Iverson is a better all around player than Mario Chalmers is and possibly will be, why give Mario Chalmers the start if A.I. were to come to Miami without giving him the opportunity to lose the starting position with his game play...???
