OT - NBATV Fan Night

Just got home and turned on NBATV before the Hawks games at 10pm and I was stunned to see that the Ernie, CWebb, and McHale are the crew hosting. What happened to Gary Payton? I thought the show was fun with Payton, CWebb, and Rashad. Now it's TNT lite. The chemistry just isn't there. Anyone know the inside story on the change?

By the end of the night McHale and Webber were more at ease but it didn't feel as genuine or spontaneous as last year's crew.

Payton was annoying as **** him and his damn "scintilatiiiiiing" and half the time I couldn't hear any of the analysis because of his yelling over everybody. Cwebb is a cool guy but with Gary there it seemed like he was trying too hard not to get topped in buffoonery. Ahmad should be brought back because Kamla and Aldridge just seem to me like 40 year old virgins or something. Reminds me of sitting next to the AV guy in high school when I was putting together my highlight tape and he was offering similar commentary.
