OT: All-Star Weekend Tickets

Postby adamcz on Wed Nov 04, 2009 10:29 am

I'll be in Dallas for the all-star game, and I'm trying to figure out how to get tickets to at least one of the other events as well. The dunk contest, or more realisticly, the rookie game. Do any of you have any info on how to get these tickets, or when they go on sale? The Mavericks website has always said that tickets will go on sale in limited quantities in October, and it still says that today now that we're into November. I don't want to miss the boat if they're available somehow.

Thanks.

I don't know how this board feels about bumping threads. If you'd prefer I not do so, please let me know or just lock this thread and I'll take the hint.

In the meantime, has anybody heard anything about how to buy tickets to the Rookie game? I'd really love to buy tickets through the normal official outlet, as opposed to the $300 scalper prices I'm seeing on stubhub. Does anybody have a ticket rep that they deal with who might know?

Thanks!

I have no knowledge about event tickets. I bought four tickets to the actual game and most likely won't be able to attend. If anyone else is interested feel free to purchase tickets before the General public.

Little Catalyst and his bball team got tixs early from NBA.com (and Ticketmaster). Game should not be hard to get. the tough get will be the Slam Dunk, rook Soph game, etc. That is in AAC, and will have lots of celebrity types, players, and suits there.

I might sell a couple of my tickets for what I paid.

I checked stubhub for the Saturday night events and the price range is between $373 - $22,224. Good Luck

Yeah, I already have tickets to the actual all-star game. Mavs.com for whatever dumb reason still says that rookie game tickets will go on sale in October.

Forget about the dunk contest though - it says those won't ever go on sale.
