If holiday was picked earlier and it came down to jennings and lawson..............the sixers would of still picked lawson....................that would be sad..........but i'm still happy with the holiday pick.

Oh yeah, I love Holiday and would still take Holiday over Jennings if it came down to it again. I just think Holiday is going to be the Deron Williams to Jenning's Chris Paul.

But I was unaware that Jennings had that good of a jumpshot. If I'm not mistaken, that was supposed to be the worst part of his game, next to his defense.

"Taking the L"? As in "L for Love", as they said in Dodgeball. That makes sense.

I think what we're seeing unfold before our eyes is a solid group of young PG's in this 2009 draft class.

Jennings was viewed as a very high talent, but a lot of people weren't sure if he would live up to his potential. He's certainly on the right track to becoming a good player in this league.

Lawson is in a good position playing in Denver. He's definitely NBA ready and playing better than many teams expected.

Holiday is being brought along slowly, but has a good chance to thrive with this squad. In the limited time he has played, I've gotten the feeling that he'll be a good shooter, good distributor, and assertive defender.

It is the worst part of his game, and I don't really expect it to stick at near this level of efficiency. That being said, it's better than he was given credit for at draft time, and he's a very talented kid with a great work ethic (albeit, at times, overconfidence).

Jennings is definetely cocky as hell but hes proving he can be right now. I was skeptical too but I think Jennings is too prideful to not be good. I hope Jrue is as good as him.

While were talking draft, Ive got to bring up Chase Budinger. The guy is getting regular minutes and has made an immediate impact. I was screaming for the sixers to move up and get this guy and with the sixers shooting trouble he could be used alot. I do not get how this guy lasted to the second round with his pedigree but hes gonna be a player for a long time.

Yea Dejuan blair was a freekin steal for the spurs too.

All in all Holiday was a solid pick, an I hope we start to see more of him soon.
But I agree Brandon Jennings looks to be the real deal and right now is looking like a Roy

I was really hoping the Sixers could have traded up for Jennings in the draft. Holiday was still a very good pick though, especially at #17. Jennings has speed and seems to have been humbled from his experience playing overseas. He is very confident, but seems to have the desire to get better to back up that confidence. A lot goes into evaluating a player, but I liked Jennings a lot just based on how quick he is. You can't teach speed or quickness and in the NBA defenders can't lay a finger on the ballhandler, so elite speed is a great ability to have.

I love Jennings. Wish we could have had him. Oh well. I hope the Bucks fail for stealing him from us.
