I got to disagree with the minutes part. Jamal may need 30 to 35 minutes a night to put up good stats, but he can make positive contributions to a team win in lesser minutes. Some nights his shot won't be on, but as long as he can still draw defenders, hit the open man, and get to the hole the team should do well. I do agree that you can't pull Jamal just because he's not hitting. Joe doesn't get the quick hook when he's off. You got have faith in your player to work it out and contribute in other ways until he does. Jamal needs the same opportunity to operate that Joe gets. He has to play his game not be worried that if he doesn't hit he'll be sitting. On the other side, some nights the same number of minutes won't be available because other lineups are clicking. The key is winning regardless of whom puts up the numbers.
