Try to deal with Detroit??

I have been following the Mavs since JKidd arrived. I dont think I have ever posted on this teams page before. Anyway, I am not big on Josh Howard. Dont think he shoots it well enough or passes at all. The team looks pretty solid to me and with his impending return I was wondering do you think Detroit would bite on taking him for Hamilton. Im not saying the deal would have to be straight up. Ben Gordon could immediately take his spot if they were not comfortable with JHO at the 2. I think Hamilton would work well in Dallas because he moves effectively off/without the ball. Howard tends to stand around when Dirk has it in his iso but Hamilton would just continue moving. He is a very good shooter, decent slasher, and not a bad defender. I think he would mesh well with the Dallas lineup and would make the roster complete. I also believe that he could be attained. What do you think?

I think this would be a good deal with the only big drawback is the length of Hamilton's contract being two years longer than Howard's. I truthfully have not seen Hamilton play recently so I am not sure if he has lost a step or not. Good deal for this season but not sure about for the length of his contract.
