Hey, I know there were a few Turks on these boards when Hedo was here...I would like to know if there are any left. I think there are a couple sill - whocares is one.
But I'm certain you can get more results in the Utah and Toronto forums.

3. if you want an occidental view of turkey, read either orhan pamuk or elif safak.
4. they describe turkey as the westerns would like to hear.
5. truth is much more complicated and rather bleak.
6. unfortunately, novels with a more realistic view of turkey do not get translated into foreign languages.
