His struggles right now are surprising to me. He's in a contract year, and we're talking about Boozer here. Thought he would have started out stronger. He's had a tough time finding the bucket.

Isn't he pretty injury prone as well? I think that's the last thing we need around here.

I really think we'd have no shot at Boozer unless we give up our first rounder and some solid expirings (Ridnour, Warrick and Thomas?) which IMO isn't really worth it since I think he'd leave anyways.

Utah is in a great position, they hold all the cards in any Boozer deal. Come the deadline there will most likely be a bunch of teams calling for Boozers help. Utah could get a pretty good piece for him.

I do believe that boozer has seen his share of the injury bug. and with his contract expiring i would say its probably best just to pass on boozer and get a young PF out of the draft to go along with brad jennings. Or if we are by some chance interested in boozer we could perhaps just sign him as a FA and give nothing for him(pending if he already got a new deal, or if we could even afford him).

No thanks to Boozer. Good player but is 29 in a few weeks, terrible defensively and is all about the $. Proven to be disloyal and not play hard when his team needs him. Better options than him around including targetting young potential studs in the next two drafts.

He's an expiring contract. As long as it wouldn't take Brad or our 1st I'd love to dump some crappy contracts on Utah to get him.

Why would Utah do that and lose a valuable trade asset?

I open my mouth and Boozer goes off for a near double-double in a half.

I should do so more often. He's on my fantasy team.

Mine too. I do think that Boozer would be a perfect fit for this team but we probably wouldn't be able to keep him long term. I have no problem in getting a Boozer rental as long as we don't give up any of our picks Luc or Jennings. It's sad that our only untradeables for a Boozer rental are Luc and Brad. :(

Boozer is unrealistic. They are looking to lose salary. They'll either keep him and simply lose it (which I doubt), or they'll acquire some young/good talent in return.

None of our junk could get Boozer.
