Postgame at Minnesota

Postby Sigra on Fri Nov 06, 2009 10:22 pm

Win
2-2

Few points:

1. We were losing in first half because Skiles used this game against bad oponent to try Meeks. Meeks failed badly. He was so nervous that he infected our other players with that too. In 2nd hal Skiles was serius and we had no problem with this team

2. Our defense is great

3. If there is anybody here who would trade Bogut for Al Jefferson then that person REALLY need to stop watching basketball. Bogut is soo much better and more important player it is not even funny.

4. Same is true with Ridnour and Sessions

5. Rambis is not real head coach

6. Jennings was due but except his shooting he was not that bad. Rookie mistakes but all is fine here.

7. Bogut was indeed dominant. How many charges? 10? Great block, assists, rebounds and points. Leader and dominant factor in the paint. I am not sure that Paul win this game with this supporting cast. Maybe

Go Bucks Go

We need to continue to give big minutes to Warrick.

Ugly ass game but any road win is a good win. Bogut was huge, Ridnour played well, everyone else was blah on offense. Team D and hustle was awesome in the 2nd half.

Have to cap this off with a win vs. a terrible Bricks team tomorrow.

I think that Bogut would have way more huge games if he could keep himself from getting touch fouls early in the game.

I can't wait to see the D rankings. I would be shocked if we are not top 5.

Bogut played very well and Ridnour was easily our second best player tonight. Warrick played well in a stretch as well.

Jennings had a rough game tonight and there were a lot of bad shots... But he made some exciting plays, some good passes and forced some TOs. You knew he was going to have a bad one eventually. At least he still managed 9/6/3 (should be 4 or 5 assists) and 2 steals, even on a bad night.

Horrible game overall, brutal to watch.

Bogut had a really good game. I winced every time he landed on his back but he seemed to bounce right up.

Warrick had a very nice second half along with Luke Ridnour who played very well off the bench.

Nice to win this game. Shame we lost ot Chicago but glad we didn't let this one crumble.

Now lets when against the Knicks.

We were 4th coming in today, so we'll be top 5 regardless of what happens vs. NY in my estimation.

Where is the defensive FG% stat? I cannot find it anywhere. That's how I like to measure defense, personally.

Warrick didn't suck, props to him. Minny either need to scrap their offense or get players to suit it.

Bogut was the best player on the court by a long, long way. Trade him, right? :D
He had a couple of seriously hard falls on that back yet got straight up and played again in the 4th, more good signs from him. Seemed to handle the double better two - they ran two guys at him every time he got it in the second half as they just couldn't handle him at all.

Basically got a W by outhustling a bad opponent and riding our best players (fragile) back - I'm more than OK with that.

Jennings had a bad night but stayed positive, kept talking and was the first up to high 5 Ridnour as he came off the floor, excellent to see.

Ridnour had a terrific game, looked like he did in preseason.

Warrick came up big in the 3rd. Meeks looked nervous but thats OK, for now.

.500, Go Bucks.

Bogut showing how good he can be if he is aggressive enough. We will be 100 X harder to stop if teams have to throw 2 or 3 players when Bogut faces up like tonight. Looking towards tomorrow night, Lee/Harrington will not stand a chance of guarding Bogut, but I don't see Bogut defending either of those two all hat well either.

Good game by Ridnour and great to see Jennings not sulk and be the first up to high 5 Ridnour.
