While I don't really believe in "must wins" in an 82 game season, especially this early this in the season, this is as close as it gets.

Yes !
I expect (hope ?) the Blazers to win the next 3 games pretty easily.

6-3 would be a good start after the recent over reactions.

Agreed, especially since if you look at the division denver is 5-2, Utah is 2-4, OKC is 2-3, and Minny is 1-5. Had Denver kept their hot streak up and were 7-0 I'd be a bit more worried than I am.

If we're smart we take the ball right at Al Jefferson. Pound it in to Oden and let Roy and Miller drive the lane and draw fouls. If we can take Jefferson and his offense out of the game the T-Wolves are a plodding team of poor jump-shooters.

I imagine the Wolves are thinking the same thing about Oden

and with Oden out, Jefferson could be a big factor. For some reason, Jefferson has played much better against Przybilla, on a consistent basis, then has Shaq or DH. Maybe because Jefferson has some pretty good footwork

I still expect a Blazer win though

Big Al is shooting .396 and avg'ing 6 rebounds a game, and 4.5 inches per vertical leap. Przybilla and Oden will look so dominant they'll begin to feel embarrassed about how easy it is.

I fully expect the Blazers to win, but this could easily be one of those "trap" games. Probably won't be as easy as it should be. Look for a guy like Gomes to go off and become an All Star for a night.

You know, despite Portland sweeping the series last year. All of the games but one were really close and came down to the last few minutes. I don't expect this to be as easy as others think it will be.

Whadda ya know, you play with a passing point guard and he creates easy fast break points. Imagine that...

It makes me so happy to see Miller in the starting lineup. His passing is phenomenal when he's in a rhythm.

I'd rather see Rudy starting where Blake is for size concerns, but you can't deny that Blake is playing well.
