Scouting reports on every projected first rounder and many second rounders have already been released and can be found by following this link.

So with the draft mere hours away now, I've emptied out my scouting notebook to deliver reports on players that I have not done full articles on.

- James Gist Of Maryland

Gist is a great finisher in the air on lobs and is really quick in the open floor. He has a better face-up game than people give him credit for, but as a senior it really should be better already if it ever could.

His most impressive offensive skill is how well he shoots the little catch-and-shoot turnaround when flashing to the free throw line, which is something he might be able to build an entire set of moves around if he continues to work turning his shot fake into a dribble drive take.

- Walter Sharpe Of UAB

Sharpe is a great athlete who has the skills to play the game like a much smaller player. He can shoot the outside shot, has a good handle, and posesses great agility in the post.

He is decidedly quick-footed and is an awesome finisher at the rim.

Sharpe has a nice set of skills at the mid-post and could excel here especially well.

- D.J. White Of Indiana

White is too undersized and athletically ordinary to be a truly effective NBA player. He works hard down low, but his game is getting close to the rim and drawing fouls, which is something he won’t be able to do against NBA bigs because they will be able to block his shot.

He doesn’t have the kind of pure basketball abilities to offset his size.

- Darnell Jackson Of Kansas

He might be an undersized, under-athletic late bloomer, but he has a great motor and comes from a program that develops well-rounded talent.

He uses his body well, getting wide on post entry passes and when boxing out. He does a good job of sealing his defender, and although he can finish at the rim, he labors a touch in the air.

But he has a nice little face-up game and is essentially a less athletic and older Darrell Arthur.

- Trent Plaisted Of BYU

Plaisted is a good slasher who likes to finish one-handed runners and is quick and confident to the rim.

He has good post moves and a nice up and under but doesn’t have a consistent mid-range game to offset his lack of strength and athleticism down low.

- Othello Hunter Of Ohio State

Hunter has a good motor on both sides of the ball and should be a good NBA rebounder because of how long he is to the ball. He plays smart and doesn’t overextend himself.

He is good on the pick and roll, is a solid finisher, and has exhibited enough touch on his jumper to show that he can improve that aspect of the game as he gets more and more reps.

- Pat Calathes Of St. Joseph’s

His advantage as a small forward prospect is clearly his combination of mobility and height, but like a Ryan Anderson, he plays decidedly smaller than his height.

He flails around when he gets into the lane and although he has good form on his perimeter shot, something is off with it.
