11/16/01: TRADE: The Magic traded Bo Outlaw and a future 1st round pick to the Suns and cash to the Clippers to receive Jud Buechler from the Suns, the right to exchange a future 2nd round pick with the Clippers and a $2.6 million traded player exception. The Suns traded Buechler to the Magic and Vinny Del Negro to the Clippers to receive Bo Outlaw and the 1st round pick from Orlando. The Clippers will allow the Magic the right to exchange 2nd round picks in the 2005 draft and they received Del Negro from the Suns and cash from the Magic.
11/16/01: The Clippers waived Vinny Del Negro. His guaranteed salary will continue to count against the team's cap.
01/26/01: Golden State traded Vinny Del Negro to Phoenix for Corie Blount, Ruben Garces and Paul McPherson. As part of the trade, Corie Blount agreed to waive his player option at the end of this season and is now guaranteed $1,452,000 for next season.
