07/13/07: The New Jersey Nets signed free agent Vince Carter to a multi-year contract.
06/30/07: Vince Carter of the New Jersey Nets exercised his early termination option on his contract making him a free agent.
12/17/04: The New Jersey Nets acquired guard-forward Vince Carter from the Toronto Raptors in exchange for center Alonzo Mourning, center-forward Aaron Williams, forward Eric Williams and two first-round draft picks.
08/01/01: Vince Carter signed a 6-year maximum contract extension with the Raptors. The extension takes effect after the 01-02 season, lasts through the 07-08 season and will be worth more than $84 million. The contract terms won't be known until the 02-03 cap is determined.
