Antonio Davis officially notified the Raptors that he plans to exercise an option to void the final three years of his current contract and become a free agent on July 1.

The Chicago Bulls sent their 2001 2nd round draft pick to the Milwaukee Bucks . This completes the 1999 Andrew Lang trade.

Keith Closs was waived by the Clippers. He was suspended before the season started for a "lack of physical contitioning". He still has one guaranteed season left on his contract at $2,160,000 which will count against the Clipers' cap. The team may try to argue that Closs was in violation of his contract in order to avoid paying the remaining salary.
