Maxwell still has a guaranteed 2 years and $3,289,000 that the Knicks are responsible for since waiving him earlier this summer. Because his contract with the Sixers is non guaranteed, there is no way of determining how much relief the Knicks will receive. The longer Maxwell stays on the Sixers roster, the more money he receives, the more money he receives, the less money the Knicks have to pay.

Lorenzo Williams was released by the Wizards. He still has a guaranteed 3 years and $5,880,000 left in his contract. It is not known if Williams was bought out of his contract or not. If there was a buyout, the guaranteed total and payment schedule will likely change.
