The Cavaliers signed Chris Gatling to a 3-year $8.5 million contract then sent him to the Heat. As a result of this trade, the Raptors received a $1,483,461 traded player exception.

The Hornets waived Chris Porter. If he is claimed off waivers, his contract is claimed by his new team. If he clears waivers, he will become a free agent and his guaranteed salary of $200,000 will count against the Hornets' cap.
