Kwame Brown undoubtedly has been hearing the rumors swirling that he may soon be a member of the Portland Trailblazers, but the media reports that have been swirling were rebutted by his coach Doug Collins, who told him "We want you here."

Washington sources have said that there is a good chance that the Wizards will retain their current 14 man roster throughout the season, according to Steve Wyche of the Washington Post, but if the team were to trade it would likely involve a lesser used player (Courtney Alexander) or a player in the last year of their contract (Tyrone Nesby), although Whche is quick to add no names were mentioned.

"If you have any thoughts of changing your team you've got to figure out if it is going to be something that's going to help you in the long run and is not some short-term fix," Collins said. And with the Wizards a Michael Jordan injury away from dropping back to the lottery they are not willing to bank their rebuilding blocks on a player like Rasheed Wallace.
