Expect Michael Jordan back in the NBA next year as well, unless he decides he cannot physically compete at a high level. But with a variety of minor injuries, tendonitis of the knee and wrist included, Jordan said that this would be weighed and a decision would be made during the offseason.

Steve Wyche of the Washington Post also reported that Jordan said he is able to seperate his personal life from his basketball so what is happening in his divorce proceedings will not affect his game. Also, while he misses spending time with his children, Jordan said he would not have come back to play if they did not want him to.

"He's having fun on a different level," Collins said. "Winning championships was one level of fun and enjoyment. With this one I think his hopes are to play a couple years and leave his fingerprints on this team so when he goes back upstairs, [the players] understand what it takes for them to keep it going. We don't want this to be a short-term fix where the minute Michael stops playing all of a sudden we go back and have a bad team again."
