They filled the night with another collection of injuries and illnesses, shot badly but scrapped enough to keep the game close before losing another last-second decision, 98-95 to the Memphis Grizzlies before 10,893 Sunday night at Compaq Center.

Memphis rookie Will Solomon dropped a pair of free throws with 4.2 seconds left to give the Rockets their league-leading 15th loss of three points or fewer and Memphis its 23rd win, matching the franchise record.

"I know we lead the league in close games," Moochie Norris said. "We were right there in the fourth quarter with two or three minutes to go and we lost those games."

This time, however, they lose one with different players.
