According to K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune Bulls coach Bill Cartwright believes that his team did enough bowing to Michael Jordan prior to his team's embarrasing loss on National TV earlier this week, and there will be no encore.

We've already bowed down enough to him this week," the Bulls' coach said after Tuesday's practice.

Johnson claims that Cartwright's message to avoid "a lovefest" before last week's game in Chicago went unheeded. Several players acknowledged being overwhelmed by the moment as the Bulls turned in one of their most uninspired efforts.

As Chicago prepares to face Jordan again tonight Bulls captain Jalen Rose still doesn't believe his youthful team have learnt their lesson.

"When a guy like Michael Jordan is standing next to you on the free-throw line or running down the court and says anything to you, you're taking it to heart," Rose said. "He can tell you you're playing hard. He can tell you to practice on your left hand. He might tell you he'll trade for you or get you some shoes."

"He's getting ready to be an owner while he's still playing. He's doing a little recruiting."

The Bulls, however, may have a new weapon from the team which demoralized the Jazz in their last outing, with rookie Jay Williams practicing and claiming that his ankle is strong enough to play.

Cartwright, however, said Williams looked "stiff" and a decision will be made Wednesday.
